Summary
Destiny 2’s Season of the Witch is almost over, with fewer than 40 days left before the next installment and the Festival of the Lost event underway, and it may be time for some players to focus their time and energy on preparing for Season 23. WithDestiny 2’s economy changesand multiple buffs, nerfs, and adjustments to the overall sandbox coming with Season 23 and later on with The Final Shape, there are items that will likely become better than they currently are, or at least their niche will be expanded upon in a way that makes them more desirable. This includes four Titan Exotics that players shouldn’t sleep on when Season 23 finally launches.
There are currently over 40Exotics inDestiny 2available to each class, which is great when it comes to having multiple options for builds and strategies. On the other hand, this also muddies the water when it comes to the best possible choices for each given build, and since some builds will become more prominent with Season 23, a handful of underused Exotics for each class could enjoy their time in the limelight. For Titans, there are several options that are not in the meta right now, but with a Stasis resurgence next season, they very well might.

Cadmus Ridge Lancecap
Arguably one of the best endgame Exotics for the Titan if used with appropriate builds, the Cadmus Ridge Lancecap helm allows players to create multiple Stasis crystals when Diamond Lances hit. This alone is a powerful ability because it gives players a chance to control the battlefield and crowd-control enemies more easily, and it also ties into theBehemoth Titan subclass inDestiny 2quite well. On top of that, precision hits and kills with a Stasis weapon from behind a rally Barricade will also generate Diamond Lances near the player. With more Stasis mods in Season 23, this Exotic is likely to become extremely valuable.
ACD/0 Feedback Fence
Destiny 2’s Season of the Witchcame with a handful of changes to existing Exotics, and ACD/0 Feedback Fence was one of them. This Exotic now allows players to generate Armor Charges with any melee attack, and while it consumes them for an explosion when injured, it can be effectively used as a momentum-swinger for some builds that spend Armor Charges constantly. One of them is all about the Titan Behemoth constantly using Howl of the Storm’s charged melee or even the Strand Titan’s Frenzied Blade, spamming them for lots of melee damage.
Hoarfrost-Z
Given the presence of Stasis seasonal mods inDestiny 2’s Season 23, the Hoarfrost-Z will likely become much better now thanks to its ability to replace the regular Titan Barricade with one made of five Stasis crystals. These all interact with the subclass' own gameplay loop, becoming valuable for Stasis shard generation, explosions via Whisper of Fissures, and more. The new Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon also added a Stasis wave frame grenade launcher, and players can use it to destroy Barricades created via Hoarfrost-Z for extra explosions and stacking Stasis effects.
Icefall Mantle
In a similar vein, a focus on Stasis means Bungie will promote the use of Stasis weapons in some way, andDestiny 2’s Icefall Mantle buffs the damage dealt with Stasis weapons with its recently buffed perk. As of now, this underused Exotic allows players to stack up to 35% increased damage with Stasis weapons when scoring kills, which can turn into a massive boost in DPS phases in Raids, Dungeons, or even GM Nightfalls if used with powerful guns. This item also provides an on-demand overshield in place of the Titan Barricade, which can be great for getting out of sticky situations.
Destiny 2is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
