Activision has finally announced itsAttack on Titancrossover withCall of Duty: VanguardandCall of Duty: Warzone, and it centers around none other than Levi Ackerman. Rumors of this crossover have been circulating since November last year, but only now has the community received a definitive announcement from Activision.
The crossover will add the new Tracer Pack: Attack on Titan — Levi Edition Bundle to the store, priced at 2,400CP or around $20. The 10-item bundle is filled with gear based on the award-winning manga. However, not everyone in theCall of Dutycommunity is stoked about the crossover.

The Levi Ackerman Bundle
The maincontent for theAttack on Titancrossoveris the Levi Edition Bundle. It contains an operator skin, three weapon blueprints, and six other cosmetic items. The most notable item in the bundle is no doubt the skin. The Survey Corps operator skin is a Legendary item for Sergeant Daniel Yatsu: It features many of the details from its source material, including the Survey Corps emblem, and even Levi’s cravat.
Next is the Titan Piercer, which has the Katana as its base weapon. Another Legendary item, its design is based on the swords inAttack on Titan. TheCall of Dutyblog even describes it as being made from ultrahard steel, capable of slicing through both Titans and squads. As for the other two weapons — Historia and Ymir Curse — they’re both named after characters from the series, with theirbase weapons being the Stenand Volk, respectively.
As for the Secret Keeper charm, that’s an item that Levi Ackerman holds near and dear to his heart. It plays a central role in revealing the secrets of the world in the source material. The One Hot Potato sticker, though seemingly comical, pays homage toa fallen member of the Survey Corpswho loved potatoes. As for the Wings of Freedom emblem, it’s a faithful recreation of the Scout Regiment’s insignia.
Lastly come the character animations. The Steel Cut Finishing Move, Ultrahard Steel MVP Highlight, and Vertical Maneuver Highlight Intro all feature the Titan Piercer weapon. Though note that the Vertical Maneuver Highlight Intro is aCall of Duty: Vanguardexclusive.
Reception Of The Bundle
Though a crossover betweenCall of DutyandAttack on Titanseems like a godsend for gamers and anime fans, the community wasn’t at all impressed with Activision’s new bundle. Thebiggest problem is definitely the Levi Ackerman skin. Many in the community have said that the skin doesn’t translate well on Daniel Yatsu, with some calling it “bad cosplay,” “a dollar-store rendition,” and even “cursed.”
Players are wondering why Activision didn’t just introduce Levi as a new Operator. This might have been the better option, as it would have allowed the developers to design a better-looking model, certainly one that fits the Survey Corps uniform more. Activision has alreadydone it before with Ghostface, so it’s unclear why the developers pushed for the Levi cosplay instead.
Others have also pointed out that the new guns seem shoehorned in. Historia and Ymir Curse are based on two characters from the series. However, this seems like a strange choice, given that they aren’t typically seen as the most popular. Plus,neither of these characters were established marksmen. Sasha Braus or even Mikasa Ackerman might have been better options.
Even with the backlash, a fewCall of Dutyplayers are still looking to get their hands on the bundle. Some want to get it purely because of how cursed the skin is, while others are interested because they’rebig fans of Attack on Titan. Regardless, Activision’s interesting new crossover has certainly gotten people talking — for better or for worse.
