The Stormshore Tabernacle is a temple found in the Lower City part of Baldur’s Gate. It’s directly to the west of the Basilisk Gate Barracks and theBasilisk Gatefast travel point. You shouldn’t miss this area as it is where you start after crossing over fromthe Wyrm’s Rock Fortressin Rivington. you’re able to make gold offerings to the various gods for a temporary buff. Break Into the Tabernacle’s Basement
You can break into the tabernacle basement by lockpicking theOrnate Wooden Hatchin the corner of the building. You can find it at coordinates(X:103,Y:-30.)Wait until the vicar is turned around while staring at the main altar or distract him by starting a conversation with a party member.
The tabernacle basement isladen with traps. There are multiple pressure plates and vents throughout both rooms. Walk carefully and your party should spot them after passing a perception check. Triggering the traps will result in your party receiving damage from the Holy Fire vents.

The Shield of Shielding can be found in the chest on the far right side of the room. Stealing from any chest in this room will curse the character who grabbed the item. ThisCastigated By Divinitycurse will cause the affected character to die automatically the next time they are downed. The character’s death will then cause a powerful Deva enemy to spawn and attack the party.Baldur’s Gate 3’s Remove Curse spellwill help, but you will still have to fight a Deva. You can avoid the curse entirely by using a bludgeoning weapon tosmash the chestsand loot the items off the floor. The gods and the vicar will be unaware of your thievery.
