But there’s a surprising amount of depth to the game, and with that depth comes added complexity that can make it difficult to know what to do when first diving in. For all those players just starting out, here are some great tips to succeed inNobody Saves The World.
Updated May 26th, 2022 by Russ Boswell: There is a ton to see and do in Nobody Saves the World. The top-down RPG adventure is deceptively simple, seeming like a straight-forward hack-and-slash but quickly devolves into something rather in-depth. Players will find themselves unlocking tons of new and exciting forms, as well as upgrading abilities, discovering hidden paths, battling bosses, and clearing out immense dungeons. Nobody Saves the World is definitely a much bigger experience than many players assume going in and it’s rife with mechanics and abilities that players need to master. To better help new players, the following list has been updated with even more beginner tips for Nobody Saves the World.

14Keep An Eye Out For Fairies
There is a lot to keep an eye out for in Nobody Saves the World. In some of the later dungeons, players will find themselves completely overrun by enemies, turning the game into something more akin to a Bullet Hell than anything else. Because of this, it can be pretty difficult to discover every little hidden item lurking in the corners of the release, but players should keep an eye out for certain items and creatures during their journey.
Fairies are a great example. These mystical creatures are vitally important to gamers who want to get the most out of their adventure through Nobody Saves the World. Each Fairy will increase a player’s mana bar permanently, which will allow them to spam more abilities, making it easier to get through the tougher dungeons in each area.

13Environmental Objects Restore Mana
Mana is a vital resource inNobody Saves The World, as it powers almost every ability in the game. Mana is finite, though, and players can run out if they’re not careful. Fortunately, each class comes with a basic attack that restores a proportional amount of mana with each hit, which can often be upgraded with the use of skill tokens.
However, what many players might not realize right away is thatdestroying random objects in the environment also restores mana. Basic attacks don’t discriminate between a monster and a barrel, so players should feel free to smash every object they see with extreme prejudice. There’s even a specific passive perk,Horse Power, that boosts the amount of mana recovered when destroying breakable objects.

12Don’t Just Break Items For Mana
Breaking things is vastly important in Nobody Saves the World, not just for Mana-gain, but thanks to the wide array of items that players can find hidden within the objects in each area. Although it’s important to break the environment in each zone to keep players “in the fight” and with a full mana meter, it’s also smart to break items even when players are fully stocked on mana. This is because there are other items hidden within breakable objects, including things like HP restoratives, money, and even upgrade points. Breaking stuff can be a great way for players to pick up some extra cash and even enhance their characters further.
11Switch Forms Often
Nobody Saves The World’s central gameplay mechanic is the titular character’s ability to transform into a variety of different magical forms, each with its own skills and powers. At first, players will only haveaccess to a single form, the Rat, but they’ll quickly start unlocking new forms the more they play.
It pays to switch between these forms as often as possible, both to fully experience everything the game has to offer andto earn Stars to unlock the main dungeons. Each completed quest also awards experience toward the player’s overall level, reducing the need for dedicated time spent grinding later on. Having multiple forms at a high level also comes in handy when the customization feature is unlocked later on in the game’s story.

10Customize To Suit The Challenge
At a certain point early in the game, players will unlock the ability to customize their forms with any other perk or attack. This opensthe game’s combat up in some incredible waysand allows for in-depth build crafting to suit just about any challenge the game might dish out. There’s almost no limit on how players can customize their forms, including stacking damage buffs or shoring up a form’s defense with multiple passive perks.
And this customization is there for a reason, asthe dungeons only get more intricate from that point on. New parameters like reduced mana regeneration, explosive enemy corpses, and wild damage multipliers will force players to think carefully about both the form and abilities they’re using to overcome each obstacle.

9Don’t Fear The Shop
Although a majority of Nobody Saves the World seems like an upgrade fest, in terms of doing Form Quests and leveling the different characters, players shouldn’t ignore the Shop. Grinding out money can be a worthwhile activity in the RPG release as it allows players to purchase a wide array of goods from the shopkeep. Players will likely see items they didn’t know they could buy, including some powerful buffs that remain permanent throughout the entire adventure. It’s important to always keep tabs on the shop, constantly checking to see if new items show up in stock and grinding out money to buy the more useful things that combine well with a player’s chosen playstyle.
8Focus On Unlocking New Forms
One of the most fun and innovative elements ofNobody Saves The Worldis the ability to unlock new forms. Each form comes with its own suite of new attacks and passive perks that dramatically alter how the game is played. It takes some work to unlock every one of them, but it’s a worthy investment to get the full roster.

It can be tempting to stick with one, reliable form, but it isn’t worth it asthe game gates progress on them behind specific milestones in the main story. Having a wide variety of forms available provides access to a greater suite of abilities as well as a wider selection of form quests that can help players level up faster. There are even a few side quests that can only be completed after unlocking specific forms.
7Explore Off The Beaten Path
Nobody Saves The Worldisa massive game that is bursting with secretsand hidden collectibles just waiting for players to find them. Treasure chests, mana boosts, and side quests can be found around almost every corner, but many of these treasures can only be found by straying from the path.
Almost every inch ofNobody Saves The World’s map can be explored, especially after unlocking some of the more specialized forms, and it pays to spend time just exploring. In fact,to unlock the powerful Dragon form, players will have to find five hidden bird nestsscattered throughout the land.

6Check The Map
Nobody Saves The World’s map is one of the most useful tools in the game, especially forfinding new pathways and discovering every collectible. Whenever players find themselves on the wrong side of a set of wooden spikes or a dense copse of trees, pulling up the map is always the best option for finding an alternate way around.
The map also comes in handy for keeping track of various other points of interest, including the optional demi-dungeons that dot the landscape. If players find themselves under-leveled for a particular dungeon, all they have to do is check the map to find a region or dungeon at their level to get some much-needed experience.

5Break Warded Enemies First
Warded enemies aresome of the most challenging elementsofNobody Saves The World, particularly when they’re grouped up with baddies protected by a different type of ward. It’s always the smartest move to prioritize breaking the wards on all enemiesbefore trying to take down the group. There’s also a certain enemy monster who can restore wards, and it’s always recommended to take him out first.
Just about every attack inNobody Saves The Worldcan hit multiple enemies at once if used properly, but they won’t have any effect if any enemy still has a ward up. Take note of which ward types are in a dungeon by checking it on the map first, then build a customized form that can deal with each of those wards with ease. It’s also a good call to pick a form with a ward-breaking standard attack to balance out mana costs.
