Blue Lockis filled with a good amount of soccer players who all work hard and would do anything to survive being locked off from their dream. However, there is one particular player that doesn’t have as much stake in this project or even any passion for the sport; yet is a monster with a talent for the sport

Nagi Seishiro is impressive, albeit also an apathetic young man who only recently started trying in episode 10, “Just The Way It Is”. However, despite his disinterest in the sport, many fans of the show are curious to know more about Nagi Seishiro as a character inBlue Lock.Which begs the question of what exactly does Nagi enjoy, or even have a slight interest in outside his own desire to just relax and do nothing?

10Nagi’s A Taurus

As an interesting piece of trivia, Nagi’s zodiac sign is Taurus, which is surprisingly contradictory to Nagi’s entire personality and outlook on life. A Taurus is known for being down to earth, hardworking, reliable, and loyal as well as tenacious.

The issue with that is that it doesn’t accurately describe Nagi, as he’s not motivated by anything or even hardworking since his talent in soccer comes as easily as breathing. Perhaps the author put this detail as a form of irony, to complement how Nagi’s personality is at oddswith his zodiac sign.

9Nagi Enjoys Jim Carrey’s “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”

Surprisingly enough, Nagi’s favorite movie happens to be a classic many fans of Jim Carrey’s performance inEternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The movie’s premise is an eccentric one: when a couple’s relationship turns sour the two of them decide to undergo a medical procedure to remove each other’s memories from their brain.

While Jim Carrey is often known for participating in comedy movies and his eccentric acting, Nagi’s personality wouldn’t have fans believehe enjoys comedies much. Of course, Nagi’s also likely to be the individual who’d rather watch movies rather than do anything too hard.

8Nagi’s Favorite Animals Are Slackers Like Him

Not surprisingly, Nagi’s favorite animals happen to be the lazy panda, the slow-moving sloth, and a comfortable koala. These three animals certainly speak to Nagi’s personality and considering the three animals share a tendency to be passive herbivores and don’t exert much energy daily, it’s not a surprise that Nagi would find some appeal in that.

Even to his animals, Nagi can be somewhat lazy in perspective, although it can be said that he does enjoy normal things like most people, just so long as they aren’t bothersome or strenuous to him.

7"Bonobono" is Nagi’s Favorite Manga

Who knew that a talking sea otter namedBonobonowould also happen to be Nagi’s favorite manga? TheBonobonoseries is typically an 8-panel manga mixing comedy and philosophical outlooks on life, oftentimes even referring toForrest Gumpas a valid source.

While Nagi doesn’t seem to be the biggest thinker, it can certainly be said that an 8-panel mangawith slight bits of comedyand some philosophy allows Nagi to digest it easily, without using too much effort.

6He Enjoys History—Surprisingly

While not many people can say that history is a favorite subject of theirs, apparently Nagi prefers to study history more than anything else. The Egoist Bible has stated from Nagi, that he enjoys history only because he has to memorize certain dates and the names of certain people.

This is a simple, lazy answer, from a normally lax and somewhat notorious slacker, but not that much of a surprise for his character. Either way, it’s safe to say that he might be the guy you go to when attempting tolearn about recent or previous events.

5Nagi Enjoys Spring

Clearly, there isn’t much that catches Nagi’s interest, although he has stated in the Egoist Bible that he prefers spring as a season over the others. When asked about his reasoning, his answer was a simple, but predictable one considering his character.

It makes Nagi feel like he doesn’t have to think about anything, which is another way of him saying that spring lets him be lazy and mostly not worry about unnecessary thoughts.Spring is a good seasonfor naps and staying inside, so Nagi’s interest is definitely not a surprise.

4Nagi Enjoys A Simple Lemon Tea

Certainly notfood in the traditional sense, but considering Nagi it is a perfect fit. Lemon Tea isn’t really a complicated drink to make, as it’s simply tea with some lemon juice and rind, giving it a tangy flavor that is still soothing.

Nagi catching his phone with his foot

It has been shown that Nagi already considers eating itself a big hassle to do because of his lazy personality, so a simple tea that takes minimal effort to make is right up Nagi’s alley and preference. Who knows if he’s ever going to find that inBlue Lock, but Nagi somehow manages regardless.

3Nagi Dislikes Crab

The opposite of what Nagi enjoys happens to be a certain crustacean that takes a great effort to peel so that it’s easy to eat. Despite the fact that Nagi does eat crab occasionally, the only reason he dislikes it is that he needs to peel the skin with some effort—something that Nagi just isn’t really interested in doing.

If it doesn’t come easy for him, it’s safe to say he’d rather not think about it, or quit ahead of time before it bothers him.

2The Last Gift He Got For Christmas Was Gacha Money

While this Christmas gift isn’t particularly meaningful, Nagi spends most of his time on his phone as a whole, wasting time on games, shows, and manga if he can. It’s no wonder that the last thing he would want for Christmas is the equivalent of$100 in Gacha moneyso that he could use that instead.

It may be a tad bit wasteful, but to Nagi, it’s exactly what gives him a reason to lay about and do nothing, so one could say that it’s a fitting gift for him.

1Nagi Doesn’t Have A Favorite Soccer Player

Despite Nagi’s skill and talent in soccer, he never really considered it a career choice he would pick. Therefore, it makes sense that Nagi knows barely anything about the influential top players of soccer, as Nagi had no interest or even any intention of joining a soccer team.

It could also be that since his school had a weak soccer team he had no interest, but it truly does reveal a key aspect of Nagi’s character. He’s a relative nobody when it comes to the sport, only playing for about 6 months straight, and yet histalent puts him at another levelamong his peers inBlue Lock. Regardless, if fans see Nagi develop more curiosity over the sport, he may learn about the top players eventually.
