The Akkala region and Central Hyrule are the best locations on the map to farm Guardian Stalkers. They are considerably more dangerous but will drop more loot once defeated.Once the Blood Moon rises, they will respawn and can be fought once again.

For a more peaceful search, players can explore areas such as the Temple of Time and Fort Hateno for broken-down Guardians.

Players that own the Guardian Amiibo can also scan it once per day to obtain random ancient materials.

Uses For Ancient Cores

Ancient Cores have several different uses inBreath of the Wild; some, of course, make these items worth farming, while others not so much.

Players that are low on cash could potentially sell them 80 Rupees, but it’s not worth it since they’re too rare for their price value. Alternatively, they can also be exchanged for 40 Mon at Kilton’s shop. Or even given to Saygen at the Kochi Dye Shop to produce gray dye.

The best uses for Ancient Cores are crafting armor and weapons and equipment upgrades.

At the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, Robbie can create the Ancient Armor set if the player provides enough ancient parts- Ancient Cores being one of these parts. He will also makeancient weapons with these cores.

At Great Fairy Fountains, Link will have to give up some Ancient Cores in order to upgrade several clothing articles, such as the Divine Beasts' helms andRobbie’s complete Ancient Armor set.
