The collaboration with UNIQLO is being done in conjunction with artist Kosuke Kawamura, famous for his collage art style. Kawamura has brought the anime to life on a series of short and long-sleeved shirts featuring bold designs of all the main characters. The shirts are split by character, featuring Denji, Pochita, Makima, Power, and then a generalDevil Hunterscategory.
Most of the shirts in theChainsaw Manx Kosuke Kawamura collection are monochrome, with black and white images on black, white, or gray shirts. There are a few exceptions, though, especially Power’s shirt, which has a full color picture of her along withher famous introductionfrom when she first meets Denji. As the main character, Denji has several dedicated designs in his Chainsaw Devil form.

All the shirts have quotes from the show written in English, which has set the line up perfectly for its upcoming international release. The shirts will release in the USA and the UK, both in stores and online. UNIQLO sells their shirts very affordably both in Japan and at its international shops, bringing otaku clothes to everyone in a way that they can actually afford. Plus, it makes anime shirts actually accessible to international fans without jumping through hoops and paying a small fortune just to have something official.
