How to Catch Every Legendary Fish

Legendary Fish are seasonal catches, requiring you to catch them during specific times they appear in the waterways. Below is a comprehensive guide on catching each one:

Giant Sea Bass

In the first seven days of Fall, head to the Ocean at any time of day or night, regardless of weather conditions, to catch the Giant Sea Bass. You require one Legendary Bass tocomplete the Rare Fish Altar in the Lake Temple. Any additional fish can be sold for a base price of 972 coins.

Giant Stingray

Between the 15th and 28th of both Summer and Spring,fish in the River(Forest) during Sunny or Windy weather in the mornings or afternoons to catch the Legendary Giant Stingray. Donate the first Legendary Stingray you catch to the Museum for extra points.

Great White Shark

During the first 14 days of Summer, head to the Ocean near the Dock area and fish in the mornings or afternoons on sunny and windy days to catch the Legendary White Shark.Donate your first catch to the Museumfor three extra points, and sell the rest for a base price of 972 coins.

Green Sawfish

During rainy, stormy, snowy, or blizzard weather in Winter, you can catch a Legendary Green Sawfish in the Estuary. Visit this location during afternoons, evenings, or nights to maximize your chances of catching this rare fish. Only Theoloves this item as a gift, and you’re better off donating it to the Museum or selling it for the same base price as other Legendary sea creatures.

Hammerhead

Catch a Hammerhead in the Lookout Area (Ocean) during the first 21 days of Fall and Winter. Visit this area during rainy, stormy, snowy, or blizzard weather, and fish from morning to night to guarantee catching it.

Monkfish

Monkfish is available in the Forest area’s Ocean during the first 14 days of Spring. Fish during the evenings or nights on sunny or windy days for a chance to catch this Legendary fish. You will not need this fish for any of the Altars, and your best bet is to donate it to the Museum.

Raja Ampat Shark

To catch this Legendary shark, head to the Lookout area’s Ocean during the first 14 days of Summer and fish in the evenings or nights. Regardless of the weather, you will have an opportunity to catch the Raja Ampat Shark if these conditions are met.

Red King Arowana

From the 22nd to the 28th of Fall, when the weather is rainy, stormy, or windy, you will have a chance to catch the Red King Arowana in the Water Mine, Wind Mine, and Fire Mine. Note that this Legendary creature only shows up in afternoons and evenings.

Yellow Moray Eel

The Legendary Eel can be caught in the Beach area’s Ocean during the second half of Spring and Summer. Visit this location from the 15th to the 28th of these seasons and fish during nighttime to catch it.
