A fun little product of the neverending comic book movie train is that, since some new character or casting choice seems to be revealed almost on the weekly, fan artists now have a seemingly bottomless well of material to pull from. Gone are the days when everybody got oneSpider-Manon the big screen to be thankful for. Now, every nerd out there is experiencing sensory overload from all the new stuff constantly coming out.
One of the latest inductees into this world of super powered purgatory is Dakota Johnson, who was reported to bein talks for an upcomingMadame Webmovie. This focal point character made to unify all the different multiverse variants ofSpider-Manout there has inspired some divisive reactions from fans over the years. But given how movies likeSpider-Man: Into the Spider-VerseandSpider-Man: No Way Homewent in hard on the multiverse concept, now is probably the perfect time to introduce her to the live-action movies.

One artist, who goes bytheartnationon Instagram, also seems to think so. One of their latest pieces serves as a concept piece featuring Johnson as the mysterious godlike Madame Web, also pulling double duty as a little multiverse of its own. Pulling from the artist’s past works that feature variousdream-casting ideas for Spider-Man, the post offers a glimpse into what is surely the greatest fantasy of many diehard Spider-Fans.
Revolving around a rendering of Johnson as Madame Web, a stylized web of energy sprouts from her to reveal a number of different theoretical takes on Spider-Man and a few others. This includes such offerings asTeen Wolf’s Dylan O’Brien,Sex Education’s Asa Butterfield, and eventhe criminally underrated Kristen Stewartas the web-slinger. Hey, just because nobody thought of it before doesn’t mean it isn’t an absolutely amazing idea.
Aside from the versions of Spidey, the work also includes less specific takes on characters like Venom and even Insomniac’s video gameversions of Peter Parker and Miles Morales. It’s a fascinating glimpse into a world where a ton of different people have taken part in the ever-growing Spider-Verse. Granted, that’s not all that far off from how things are now.
Who knows whether things will start swinging (eh?) this way as Marvel goes forward. But no matter how things go in the future, hopefully everybody can at least agree that Kstew should be in everything.
