Destiny 2players might want to visit Spider a couple of times in January to stock up on completed bounties for later this month. Although nothing has been confirmed, datamines of anupcoming exotic questsuggests players will need 10 Spider Bounties to progress further.
During the Season of Dawn,Destiny 2players will unlock two exotic weapon quests. One of those quests will be for the Devil’s Ruin sidearm and will go live next Tuesday, January 7th. The other is for the Bastion exotic fusion rifle and it will go live on January 28th.

The Devil’s Ruin quest seems fairly straightforward but the Bastion quest has some steeper requirements. One of those Bastion quest steps involves completing 10 bounties from theTangled Shore vendor, Spider.
Under normal circumstances accumulating 10 bounties from Spider might seem relatively easy but thoseDestiny 2players that want to unlock Bastion immediately should prepare. Pick up and complete 10 of Spider’s bounties sometime between now and January 28th and keep them in your inventory.
It’s important to stock up on the Spider bounties because they cost Ghost Fragments and there is a limit on how many of those fragments that players can hold. Some of Spider’s bounties are also much easier to complete as well, so players may not want to spend a lot of time running around the solar system when they want to jump right into unlocking Bastion.
Of course, players don’t yet know if Bastion will be worth the effort, even if it is an exotic to add to the collection. This weekend, aDestiny2fan shared some briefgameplay of Bastion in actionand the fusion rifle does sport a cool looking charge animation. Its perks also sound like they could be useful in PvP when trying to deal with more than one Crucible opponent.
In PvE, on the other hand, it’s yet to be seen how viable Bastion will be. Using a fusion rifle instead of one of the other popular PvE weapons inDestiny 2Season of Dawn like theIzanagi’s Burden exotic sniper rifle.
