July 7 has always been a big day forDestiny 2developer, Bungie, with the company often using the number 7 both in its games and its store offerings.Destiny 2’s 30th Anniversary Pack was released on December 7, for example, and Bungie Day has long been a way for the studio to celebrate its community and video games, often also holding fund-raising campaigns to help causes close to Bungie Foundation. It doesn’t come as a surprise that Bungie is now showcasing newmerchandise themed aroundDestiny 2and made by Numskull Designs, which has made multiple collectibles for the game in the past.

While for some fans collectibles are never enough, this year is crossing a few items off ofDestiny 2players' collective wish list by introducing two new plushies and replica of in-game items and characters. Notably, Numskull Designs was the same company that made the very popular limited edition Savathun statue and also the so-calledFallen BabyDestiny 2plushthat went on to become the fanbase’s own version of Baby Yoda fromThe Mandalorian. It only makes sense for Numskull Designs to share new collectibles on Bungie Day, and two specific entries are likely to become new fan-favorites.

Destiny 2’s New Numskull Designs Merch Expands an Already Great Collection

The first new item to pop up is the Generalist Ghost Shell plush, which is one of the first shells that the Guardian’s Ghost is given inDestiny 2, and thus is likely to have fans excited due to its nostalgia factor. Followed by it is another plush, this time based a hatchling Screeb - one ofDestiny 2’s best enemies, and also one of its worst. Screebs are exploding, Guardian-killing critters that became available with the release of the Forsaken expansion, and ever since they’ve been greatly appreciated and feared equally by the community, often even becoming memes for weird in-game deaths.

As such, a baby Screeb plush could likely enjoy great success after the Fallen Baby plush from Numskull Designs did it, possibly havingDestiny 2playersvoice their excitement by stating that the critter has to be protected at all costs. Then, the first non-plush collectible in the new set from Numskull Designs is a Fynch figure. Similarly to the Savathun statue, which was over 11 inches tall, this vynil Fynch replica is perfect to manifest fondness of the Lucent Hive, and it comes at an impressive 7.2 inches height.

Last but not least is another memorable in-game object made real-life object, and that is Numskull Designs' new Chalice of Opulence replica, which is a tribute to the Cabal emperor Calus.Destiny 2’s Lightfall campaign made Calus its final boss, but his chalice has been around ever since the original Leviathan Raid was released, where players had to shoot it to start the encounter against the gargantuan Cabal. Again, like the Screeb hatchling plush, this 6.7 inches official replica is likely to become a very sought-after item forDestiny 2fans to add to their collections due to its in-game status.

Although Bungie Day is much more than an ensemble of new products for the studio to launch, this is still a great way forDestiny 2players to get their hands on cool memorabilia, and it’s no mystery that Numskull Designs has been a favorite for a while due to the quality of its creations. All the products will be available on Numskull Designs' website as of today, but also purchasable through the official Bungie Store. And, as it stands, the new release is quite likely to make some fans happy with its two plushies and two collectibles.

Destiny 2is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
