Destiny 2allows for some crazy builds and even crazier antics. This is especially true when an entire fireteam of guardians bands together with the common goal of making something silly work.Destiny 2now has a huge sandbox full of options for players to pull off wild shenanigans, with one player getting 110 defeats in a single match of Crucible.

Destiny 2’s PvP mode, the Crucible, has seen its fair share of chaos. With exotic armor that grants players infinitely recharging melee abilities and anexotic weapon that transmutes defeated enemies into spheres, the Crucible sets itself apart from the standard PvP shooter mode. With all the game’s idiosyncrasies, it is still deeply rooted in being a cooperative game. However, no Crucible team has taken teamwork quite so far as one that recently supportedDestiny 2streamer, Gigz.

In a newly released video, Gigz loaded into a match of Crucible with a team made up of viewers from his stream. The catch was that all 5 of his teammates were playing the Solar Warlock’s Well of Radiance tree, which gives the player a slew of healing and support options. The subclass, which is normally aforce to reckon with in PvE activities, allowed for the team to be constantly healing Gigz while he alone dove into fights.

With the help of some good aim and a solid auto rifle, this let the streamer get 110 individual defeats in one match and still come out with a victory. For those number-crunchers out there, Gigz ended the match having dealt over 20,000 total damage.

While the feat is nothing to scoff at, not every guardian has a fireteam full of supporting characters to heal them through an entire teams' worth of damage. Players looking to spice up their PvP game solo might want to look into picking up some new weapons as a start. There are plenty ofCrucible pinnacle weapons like Luna’s Howlto grind, which despite the upcoming Light level cap, will still be strong options in Light advantage disabled activities like Crucible.

In addition, Gnawing Hunger, the auto rifle Gigz uses in the video, is a very strong PvP pick at the moment and easily farmable thanks to the Season of Arrivals’s new Umbral Engram system.

Guardians will a full fireteam looking to get up to some antics might want to try and replicate this unique strat Gigz has come up with. It would certainly be interesting to load into a healing-heavy, 1v1 match of PvP. To take it a step further, a team could pair this team comp with someCharged with Light modsfor maximum efficiency.

Though it may be silly and difficult to replicate, this PvP strategy does reshape the way players think about the Crucible. No matter how they go about it, players are sure to flood into the Crucible with some new ideas about subclass synergy.

Destiny 2is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
