Bandai Namco has announced that Gohan (Beast) from theDragon Ball Super: Super Heroanime film will join the roster of playable characters inDragon Ball Xenoverse 2as part of the Hero of Justice Pack 2 DLC. Moreover, this content pack includes lots of juicy stuff like new missions, costumes, skills, and loading illustrations.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2launched to a positive reception six years ago, and players have become one with a legion of playable characters, including Frieza, Goku, Janemba, Trunks, and Raditz. The anime-fighting game successfully builds upon its predecessor, taking players to an immersive and detailedDragon Ballworld where they can square off against other characters from the franchise. In addition to a multitude of customization options and gameplay features,Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2keeps players engaged with additional content, such as new skills, characters, and missions players can complete to earn rewards.

Included in theHero of Justice Pack 2 DLC, the son of Goku and Chi-Chi will appear in Conton City to prove that he has been set up as either Dragon Ball’s next villain or superhero. Bandai Namco announced that the DLC will be released on May 11, featuring three playable characters that fans have been waiting for quite some time: Gohan (Beast), Orange Piccolo, and Power Awakening Piccolo. The first Hero of Justice Pack featured characters from theDragon Ball Super: Super Heroanime film, such as Gamma 1, Son Gohan, and Gamma 2. The second one, on the other hand, is set to bring an evolved variant of Gohan that has the potential to be the most powerful being in theDragon Balluniverse.
Additional content available through the upcoming DLC includes four parallel quests, two missions, five costumes, seven skills, 15 loading screen illustrations, and fiveSuper souls that can giveDragon Ballplayers an edge during combat. Bandai Namco has also released a short trailer dedicated to Gohan, giving a brief showcase of the character’s newest variant and abilities.
Awakened during a jaw-dropping battle with Cell Max inDragon Ball Super: Super Hero anime film, Gohan is known for his immense power and speed that gives him an upper hand even against the strongest enemies on Earth. He also possesses different close-range techniques, which make him a great combatant against bloodthirsty villains.
A little further out, Gohan’s transformation to his beast form can be considered a direct successor to Ultimate Gohan Transformation. Having been unlocked by an immense rage, this evolved variant made Gohan much stronger than any of the fighters he came across, including Cell Max.Referred to as Gohan Beast, his transformation resembles those of his Super Saiyan 2 awakening. He is widely viewed as the strongest in the world in his beast form.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2is now available to play on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
