Elden Ringhas all sorts of weapons, armor, and consumables for players to find and use, with many only being obtainable by dropping from an enemy. Monster drops often have a very low probability, making some players invest a good amount of time just to get the weapon or item they want.
Item Discovery is a stat that can make items drop more often but is a much less prevalent stat compared to the usual defensive or offensive stats players will worry about. While there are a few ways to boost your Item Discovery, the least intrusive way is by using the Silver-Toed Fowl Feet consumable.
How To Craft A Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot
First, players will need to get theMissionary’s Cookbook [3], which is found in theSmoldering Church towards thenorthwestern corner of Caelid. While this region can be very difficult to traverse, the church is right on the edge of the region and players can easily run past the invader enemy to get this cookbook. To the right of the Site of Grace in the middle of the church will be two bodies, with the one on the left holding the Cookbook.
With the cookbook in your inventory you’ll be able to craft the Silver-Picked Fowl Foot using:
Rowa Fruit are incredibly common and can be found just about anywhere inElden Ring, with a Silver Firefly being a bit rarer. Silver Firefly can be found throughout theunderground region such as Ainsel River. AFour-Toed Fowl Foot is apotential drop by killing a bird. Birds are often found near ledges or cliffs throughout the Lands Between, and can most easily be killed with a ranged weapon such as a bow so that they don’t fly off before you get within melee range.
How To Maximize Item Discovery
For those willing to slightly alter their build while farming, there are a few other things players can do to boost Items Discovery on top of the bonus from theSilver-Pickled Fowl Foot. Finding theSilver Scarab Talisman inElden Ringis a great addition as itboosts Item Discovery by 75, on top of the Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot’s 50. Players' Arcane also boosts Item Discovery, but this would require level investment unless you arealready using an Arcane build. There are various armors players can wear to boost Arcane, such as theSilver Tear Maskor theAlbinauric Mask.
