Pokemonfans are excited to see what is next forPokemon Legends: Arceus,especially because the game changed a lot of conventions for the series. With that in mind, DLC could get very experimental and creative in its explorations. There is a ton of speculation about DLC becausethe Hisui regionand its story have a lot more it could offer.
WhilePokemon Legends: Arceusdid give out free DLC that offered little bits of more content, what fans really want is another story to enjoy, a new location to explore, and possibly more Hisuian Pokemon. Fans are hoping these hopes can become reality beforePokemonmoves on complete to its next big adventure,Pokemon ScarletandViolet,and there are plenty of rumors out there in support of this.

Pokemon Legends Arceus Hidden Room DLC Rumors
A DLC rumor that has had the most buzz is centered on a hidden room that was discovered. The room is complete, though the players cannot interact with anything in it. While some have speculated that this room could just be cut content that originally might have been planned for the beginning of the game, others are wondering if it may be used for DLC that has yet to be released.
The room is modern, so it is not likely in Hisui. This could be the player character’s original room before they were sent back in time, which led to rumors that this could meanmodern DLC forPokemon Legends: Arceus. If true, that would likely be a very story-oriented DLC, possibly about returning to the player character’s own time or just visiting.

Pokemon Legends Arceus: New Region DLC
Fans have been focusing a lot on mentions of other regions in the game because it is fascinating to think of places like Johto, Hoenn, Kanto, and more in this era of clans, villages, and Pokemon trainers being a newer concept. Other regions are rarely mentioned, but when they are, fans have wondered if it could hint at a DLC that allows players to peek into another region. This could easily be written into the story as a way to help more withProfessor Laventon’sPokedex, or through Arceus sending the player to another time and place to help others.
Exploring other regions could also offer fans an in-depth look at history and lore that is mentioned in other games. For example, Unova was said to have once been ruled by twin princes and had the original Dragon Pokemon until they had a disagreement and the dragon split into Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem. If DLCallowed players to visit Unova, meeting the princes and seeing this history would be fascinating.
Then, of course, there is history that could be witnessed inthe Kalos region, where a great war raged. Players can meet a younger and more innocent AZ and see or even take part in the war as he builds the ultimate weapon to restore life to his beloved Floette. If this was DLC, fans would be very excited to see a more mature take onPokemon. Options don’t even end there. The Galar region has a lot of history that could be explored as well. Players would witness the Darkest Day and help Zacian and Zamazenta stop it, and/or they could even be there to witness the meteorite possessing Eternatus fall upon the region.
Every region has a rich history that fans would love to see. While this is a DLC rumor, fans also are wondering ifPokemon Legendscould become its own series withdifferent historical regions. Either path would be welcome to the fanbase, but the latter is far more likely unless the DLC was in limited views.
Pokemon Legends Arceus DLC: Gyms And The Elite Four
While there was a main story and goals to complete the Pokedex, another part ofPokemon Legends: Arceuswas assisting the development ofJubilife Village. Players could do this by catching Pokemon and giving them to villagers as well as collecting resources for them. Fans loved to see the village develop, and it has created rumors of DLC diving more into societal development. One very interesting way this can be done is by developing Hisui’s very first Elite Four and Gyms.
Rumors have imagined this as the player character battling others to vet them forGym Leaderand Elite Four positions. This would be a good opportunity for DLC to introduce new and interesting characters, and perhaps some more that are ancestors to Gym Leaders and Elite Four in other games. Setting up Gyms could also require the player to complete particular Pokedex entries on the different Pokemon types related to the Gyms.
More Regions Within Hisui And The Sinjoh Ruins
Hisui does not cover all the land that players know is part of Sinnoh, as there are more northwest areas fromPokemon:DiamondandPearlsuch asIron Islandand the Battle Zone. Of course, these places will be nothing like they were inDiamondandPearl, but like the idea of creating Gyms and Elite Four, players could also possibly help develop what will become the Battle Zone. Iron Island is just one of many examples of Sinnoh areas that have yet to make an appearance in Hisui.
However, there is a location not connected to any region that players have wondered about. That is the Sinjoh Ruins fromPokemon HeartGoldandSoulSilver. The only way players got there was through Arceus, which is the connection that has created this particular DLC rumor due to Arceus' connection withPokemon Legends: Arceus. According to lore, the ruins were made hundreds of years ago by humans from Johto and Sinnoh. This lore seems to describe two clans coming together to build Arceus a temple. There are already clans inPokemon Legends: Arceus, and it would be interesting to see a Johto clan come and be introduced.
