Fousey’s Second Recent Twitch Ban
Fousey was recentlyhit with a second Twitch banjust a few days after the end of his last suspension, with this second infraction seemingly being more serious. It is difficult to pinpoint one exact reason behind this ban, but Fousey has found himself in a lot of hot water in recent streams that could easily warrant such a suspension.
For example, Fousey had to recently apologize for saying a racial slur on stream while singing along to a song, marking the beginning of a spate of controversies for the streamer. One of his more recent streams prior to the ban has been labeled as extremely disturbing by many within the Twitch community.
While in an airport, Fousey streamed himself flirting with a woman at a bar before striking up a conversation with her. The woman revealed that she had fallen victim to sex trafficking, to which Fousey gave her money and gave her CashApp to his viewers, with the woman receiving over $2000 in donations as a result. What could have beena wholesome Twitch momentquickly turned sour when Fousey left his streaming equipment for some time, before returning and suggesting that he slept with the woman in the airport bathroom.
Fans were quick to note the woman’s clear vulnerability and even potential intoxication due to them speaking at the airport bar, suggesting that Fousey took clear advantage of her, especially considering he had given her financial support before the incident. Fousey would later appear on stream to be visibly upset, suggesting he quickly realized the gravity of what had unfolded. It is most likely that his secondban on Twitchwas a result of this, and could result in a much stronger overall ban fromTwitchthan the one he received in July.
