The Simsis a videogame franchise unlike many others. It is one of the most popular simulation franchises, allowing players to create a person, or family of people, and have them do whatever the player wishes. From careers, to pets, to children, a player can determine almost anything for their Sims' lives, which often leads to eventual chaos and funny moments. The Simsas a franchise has often relied on weird and wacky moments over realism, allowing things likemeteor strikes as random events to hit Sims.
While the latest entry inThe Simsseries is well over seven years old now, this hasn’t stopped fans from playing the game and sharing their appreciation of the series. It seems that publisher EA hasn’t forgotten about the franchise either, as on Valentine’s Day it revealed anew Game Pack forThe Sims 4,entitled “My Wedding Stories.” In this DLC, players are given the chance to plan out their own wedding, and explore a brand new residential world.

It’s likely that this new piece ofSimscontent has inspired some creators to return to the franchise or get ideas from it. One TikTok comedian imagined something a bit different from a wedding resort though, instead taking a satirical look at what aSimscomedian would look like. While an entertainercareer is available in theSims 4, and Comedy exists as a skill that a Sim can have, there’s nothing in the game like a live stage performance.
As all Sims speak Simlish rather than any real language, many watching the TikTok were initially surprised that the video featured someone speaking in English. However, it would’ve been tricky for any except Sims to understand the jokes were they in the language created for the games. The comedian begins their roast not of the characters featured intheSims, but instead makes a clever joke on the Sims acknowledging their “creator,” which is likely to be the player, and how they constantly attempt to get their Sims to do certain things, only for the Sims to do the complete opposite.
The TikTok creator pokes fun at howSimsare often unable to distinguish between a dishwasher in the kitchen and a bathroom sink, which often results in Sims washing their kitchen dishes right next to their shower. Strangely, the comedian doesn’t make light of the many ways players are able to bringan unfortunate end to their Sims, something that theSimsseries has been famous for since the first entry.
The Sims 4is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S.
