Genshin Impact’s upcoming 5 star Geo claymore character – the first of his kind – has awakened something in its fanbase. The official Twitter unveiling of “The First and Greatest Head of the Arataki Gang” garnered almost 200,000 likes, twice as many as the splash art debut ofthe gacha game’s highest seller, Raiden Shogun. Arataki Itto’s mere image has players’ wallets in a chokehold – inevitably, dataminers have dedicated themselves to digging up every golden nugget of Itto info available to Version 2.3 Beta testers.
The subreddit r/Genshin_Impact_Leaks is currently flush with Itto content. Only a few days ago,Genshin Impactfans were piecing together blurry, overlayed screengrabs of the back of Itto’s character model: now plenty of footage is running across the internet of his presumably official model running across Inazuma. Physically, some players hoping for more diversity inGenshin Impact’s body model types were disappointed that Itto still utilizes the “Tall Male” design, though given the illusion of newness with extra shoe height and visible muscular chest. A popular fan render of Itto shows off how he may appear in-game:

Arataki Itto’s idle animations fit his boisterous, confident personality: the first is a stretch and battle-ready stomp, and the second a bit of preening with a hair comb. The Beta version of Itto wields a red, black, and gold claymore speculated to be his signature 5 star weapon. Itto’s Elemental Skill involves a Geo-tinged punch to the air that, unexpectedly, summons a small ox-like creature. His Elemental Burst activates with a stylized depiction of his oni ancestry (mischievous demons in Japanese folklore) and transforms his equipped weapon into an enormous, rocky club, alight withthe golden glow of Geo energy. The oni iconography appears again in his leaked namecard, titled “Oni Face” with the tagline: “A real man puts sorrow and anger behind him and smiles brightly for the world to see!”
Itto’s Elemental Skill hasa taunt feature similar to Monaand Amber: the little bull he calls forth is supposedly “Ushi,” the Arataki Gang’s mascot, with its own HP determined by a percentage of Itto’s Max HP. Ushi deals Geo DMG to opponents and gives Itto a power stack. Itto’s Elemental Burst converts Normal/Charged/Plunging attacks into Geo DMG, buffs his ATK proportionate to his DEF, and imbues him with 20% Elemental and Physical Resistance. His Passive Talent notably increases his “Arataki Kesatagi” DMG by 35% of his DEF.
Genshin Impactplayers who prefer to farm ahead for their favorites are in luck with some of Itto’s Ascension and Talent materials, predicted to be Onikabuto, Slime Condensate, Teachings of Elegance, Signora’s Ashen Heart, and Privitha Topaz. However, Itto’s rumored to require drops from a Rift Hound boss that debuts with him in the next update, along with a new DEF-based artifact set likely tailored to his kit (keep in mind all Beta content is subject to change). Curatingthe perfect Itto artifact setmay have to wait, but with the recent 2.2 Tsurumi Island available to explore,Genshinfans will be plenty busy in the meantime.
