A Reddit user named LewdLadModding has posted an interesting concept that equipsthe popular acting Grandmaster Jeanwith full-plate armor. The concept was well-received in the community as it gathered over 3.7k upvotes on the official Genshin Impact subreddit. Many fans claim that they would prefer this outfit over any other skin that was released in the game so far. Jean was the first five-star character in Genshin Impact to get a new outfit back during the Summer-themed Golden Apple Archipelago event in update 1.6. Jean Gunnhildr is part of the game’s Standard Character Banner which means that it’s much harder to obtain her since seven different five-star units are featured on this banner.

However, this also means that Travelers can acquire this Anemo character by losing a 50-50 on the limited banner. Even though she was once considered a must-have support character, Jean has not been in the character meta for quite some time now. Eventhe added Dendro elemental reactionsdid not improve her place in the meta as Anemo cannot interact with it.

Over the last couple of months,Genshin Impactplayers have been asking HoYoverse to buff or completely rework some of their earliest five-star characters like Jean, Diluc, or Keqing. Since the game was released in September 2020, developer HoYoverse has been following a pattern of adding new costumes during two important events, the Golden Apple Archipelago event, and the Lantern Rite Festival.

During the recently held Special Program event, a new version of the GAA event has been officially announced for theupcomingGenshin Impactversion 3.8. The live stream also confirmed the arrival of two new outfits for the five-star Pyro user Klee and the four-star Cryo character Kaeya. As per usual, Klee’s skin will probably be available for a discounted price during the event while Kaeya’s skin will be obtainable for free by completing a couple of objectives.

Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
