Genshin Impacthas just recently been updated with its new 2.0 content. This update has added a new area, quests, and evennewGenshincharacters from Inazumato collect. One quest players can get is to complete the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual.
For many, the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual is the first true regional quest inGenshin Impact’sInazuma region. It gives many players the opportunity to explore Narukami Island outside of Ritou in its totality. Nonetheless, given the complexity of the Cleansing Ritual inGenshin Impact, many players may find the quest a little bit difficult.

Once a game that was thought to be in stagnation, Genshin Impact no longer suffers from a lack of content with plenty of new features, character quests, limited-time events, and expansions in Inazuma given players an endless supply of entertaining content.
Though update 2.4 will see a return to Liyue, many new players are now just beginning to start their journeys in Inazuma. As such, this article will be updated to add clarity to the complex Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual, as well as add some helpful tips that may have been missed.
How to Get the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual Quest
to get the quest, players will first have tounlock the Inazuma area. Players need to first be Adventure Rank 30 and have completed Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves, the prologue to Chapter 2 of the Archon Quests, as well. After that, players just need to speak with Katheryne in Liyue Harbor Adventurer’s Guild. This will start the Setting Sail quest which leads players to a boat that will carry them to the Inazuma Islands area.

Once in Inazuma, players will need to speak to Kazari, an NPC that lives in Konda Village. Kazari is located initially at a roadside shrine between Ritou and Konda Village, where the player can find her inspecting the fox statue. She will start players on the five-part quest to complete a ritual called the “Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual”, one of many quests found in one ofthe best mobile games of 2020.
The Sakura Cleansing Quest in Genshin Impact
The Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual will require thatGenshin Impactplayers complete five total quests in order. These quests will drag players all over the islands, forcing them to explore and uncover the story bit by bit. These quests are:
A Strange Story in Konda Quest
Players will start the first quest by speaking with Kazari, the masked Shrine Maiden, who will give theA Strange Story in Kondaquest. to move along with the quest, players will need to use an Electro ability on the Sky Kitsune Statue. After which, they will get the Ward associated with the statue.
After doing this, players should head to Konda Village and ask the locals and the Village Chief for information. After doing so, look for three clues around the village:
Once players find these clues, they need to talk to the Village Chief again and read their diary on the rooftop. Following the diary’s instructions, players will find the key to the well behind the house owned by the Village Chief.
Once players interact with the well with the key, they will be able to climb down. There is an Exquisite Chest at the bottom of the well and a breakable wall. After breaking the wall, players can use one ofGenshin Impact’sElectroabilities to get through the purple barrier.
Players will find several shrines with a constellation decoration on the wall past the barrier. Use the Ward to set the shrines in the order they appear on the constellation from bottom to top. Once players have set the shrines in order from 1-5, pray at the initial shrine one final time to trigger a mini-boss fight.
Once finished with the boss fight, players should remember to raid all the remaining rooms under the well for treasures.

Sacrificial Offering Quest
The next step will take players to the northeastern part ofKonda Village where there is an abandoned shrine.
Players should investigate the shrine, the Kitsune Statue, then the shrine again. After investigating everything, some mysterious shadows will appear, and players will need to go talk to them.
Follow the mysterious shadows as they move, talking to them each time. After doing so, players will obtain the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Summary.
Upon finishing at the mysterious shrine, the player will be prompted to go to the Grand Narukami Shrine, where they will get theMemento Lens. Go back to the Abandoned Shrine and use the Memento Lens on the Earth Kitsune Statue three times to reveal the Seal lines. After doing this, recite the sacred words by interacting with the Sky Kitsune Statue to get the Ward.
Head back to the Grand Narukami Shrine and findthe Sacrificial Offering Quest barrier inGenshin Impact, and then destroy it. Players will need the Rust-Worn Key item from under the well in the last part of the quest to complete this part. Once all of this is done, return to Kazari, the Shrine Maiden that gave the first quest.
Cleansing Defilement and Hayashi of Tanuki in the Forest Quests
Players need to complete the Cleansing Rituals at three locations, and this will complete both the Cleansing Defilement andHayashi of Tanukiin the Forest parts of this quest chain.The three shrines are located in Chinju Forest, Araumi, and Kamisato Estate.Players can complete these three Rituals in whatever order they choose. Players can find a step-by-step guide to these three mini-quests below:

Yougou Cleansing
The last part of this quest chain has players returning once again to Kazari. Now that all the shrines have been cleansed, the barrier at Mt. Yougou will now be gone. As such, players should head through where the barrier was.
There will be an enemy on the other side calleda Miasmic Tumor, which will hurt players just for being in the area. Given this situation, players may find it beneficial to have a healer on their team. Nonetheless, players can use the Electrograna found in the cavern to help mitigate the damage.
In order to end the quest, players need to defeat the Oshimusha. Once they’re defeated, solve the shrine puzzle just like the previous puzzles in the quest chain. The Tumor will fall; players need to attack it once this happens. After defeating the Miasmic Tumor, return to Kazari to conclude the quest.
