There are many types of Constellations inGenshin Impact, and some are naturally more important than the other. For example, a mere ATK boost of Raiden Shogun’s C4 is far less important than her C2, despite being significantly harder to get.
The same pattern can be seen withGenshin ImpactHu Tao, where her earlier Constellation is more important than the later ones. This article will explain what eachHu TaoConstellation does and whether or not they’re worth pursuing.

Is Getting Hu Tao Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
For anyone that is looking to main her, yes, Hu Tao’s Constellations are worth it inGenshin Impact, especially her C1. Hu Tao’s gameplay drastically changes when she gains her first Constellation. Her other Constellations still bring more DMG and exciting new abilities, yet they’re not as important and game-changing. Even if players are not the type to go after5-star Constellations inGenshin Impact, getting her C1 is extremely recommended.
C1 - Crimson Bouquet
When Hu Tao uses her Elemental Skill, she gets the key to an infinite amount of Charged attacks. This is crucial for her gameplay since her Charges are where most of her DMG comes from. The process of animation canceling will also get smoother as players will have more stamina to spare.
C2 - Ominous Rainfall
Hu Tao’s Blood Blossom effect is a tool to keep her Pyro application active, even when she leaves the field. At C0, Blood Blossom doesn’t scale with Hu Tao’s HP, which is where players would be heavily investing in Hu Tao. After unlocking C2 Hu Tao, the Blood Blossom will start scaling with her HP, dealing more DMG and having a more useful role in Hu Tao’skit inGenshin Impact.
C4 - Garden of Eternal Rest
IncreasingHu Tao’s teammates’CRIT Rate by 12% can be important, but not when it’s a C4 Hu Tao effect. This effect doesn’t add too much to her kit or change how players should play Hu Tao.
C6 - Butterfly’s Embrace
Players who own C6 Hu Tao can be extremely aggressive with her, not worrying about her falling during combat. But there are a couple of notes to see through all these fancy effects. First, Hu Taocan’t operate without aGenshin Impactshielderor a healer that takes the role of making sure she’s staying alive. So having increased physical, Elemental, and interruption resistance doesn’t really add anything to her defensive or offensive gameplay. Finally, as a DPS, Hu Tao can’t perform without having a decent amount of CRIT Rate to amplify her DMG. So having her CRIT Rate increased by 100% for 10 seconds doesn’t add much to her kit.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
