Ganyu is one of the best DPS characters inGenshin Impact. Her versatility and ease of use put her among the most favoredGenshin Impactunits. However, many players found her straightforward playstyle “boring”, and thus choose to skip her banner despite the large damage potential she has.

Is It Worth Pulling For Ganyu In Genshin Impact?
Since her release,Ganyu remained among the topGenshin ImpactDPS. Even so, damage alone isn’t the only factor when choosing which character to pull for. So Ganyu may or may not be worth it for players. To understand better, here are a few things to consider before wishing for Ganyu.
Ganyu Is Complicated To Build
For players who already got Ganyu in her last banner, they know that it’s not asimple task to build little miss Ganyu. She has three different options for artifacts, which should adjust based on her teammates. All of the choices require players to obtain a 4-piece set, which wouldn’t be an easy feat.
Her options include Wanderer’s Troupe (Charged Attack-focused), Blizzard Strayer (Permafreeze team), and Shimenawa’s Reminiscence (Also Charged Attack-focused, but require Battery to be optimal).
Ganyu’s Strengths And Weaknesses
The next thing players would need to know is her strengths and weaknesses.
Weakness:
Ganyu Is Amazing In Spiral Abyss
Ganyu has an excellent record in the Spiral Abyss. She can main her team damage with her deadly Charged Attacks, or she can participate in the Morgana combo to endlessly freeze enemies.
As a Cryo unit, there’s nocharacter inGenshin Impactthat can replace Ganyu in the Spiral Abyss. Ayaka comes close, but she doesn’t have the AoE Ganyu has.
Ganyu Has Good Constellations
For players that already have Ganyu and arewilling to invest more Primogemsin her Constellations, then they can aim for C1, C4, or C6.C1Ganyu can reduce enemies' Cryo resistance, further increasing her Charged Attack damage.C4is a team-wide DPS buff, while herC6highly improves the speed of her damage dealing.

Because her second notable boost lies far away from C1, players should only focus on getting one more copy of Ganyu and save the rest for other characters.
