AGenshin Impactvideo leak has revealed Dehya’s potential in a team composition that revolves around Vaporize. The game allows players to have up to four different characters in their party and combine their skills and elements to trigger various elemental reactions which have the potential to increase the overall damage output of the team composition.
Developer HoYoverse already confirmed thatGenshin Impactupdate 3.5 will introduce two new characters named Dehya and Mika. Dehya will probably be the main focus of the update since she’s the only new five-star character, and she’s also rumored to be a DPS that uses the Pyro element.

A new video leak shows how Dehya performs when she’s put in a team composition that relies on triggering Vaporize. In order to cause thiselemental reaction inGenshin Impact, players need to combine Pyro and Hydro. The team in the video features four characters: the Hydro user Mona, the Anemo catalyst Sucrose and two Pyro units, Dehya and Bennett. Bennett’s main job is to serve as a damage buffer and provide healing with his Elemental Burst, Fantastic Voyage. Mona is responsible for applying as much Hydro element on the field as possible which can be easily done with her Elemental Skill, Mirror Reflection of Doom, which stays on the field even if she gets swapped out.
It should be noted that the damage numbers shown in the video could be slightly inaccurate since the footage was probably recorded on a private server. The official live stream forGenshin Impactupdate 3.5has confirmed that Dehya will be a Pyro DPS character whose damage revolves around her Leonine Bite. This burst will cause Dehya to enter the Blazing Lioness state which will infuse a couple of her next Normal Attacks with Pyro damage.
When it comes to her exact release date, HoYoverse confirmed that she will be featured in the first part of update 3.5 which should arrive in the first half of March. The live stream also revealed thatDehya will join the Standard Banner after 3.6 arriveswhich is why many players decided to skip her banner.
This means that Travelers will have the option to acquire the new five-star character either by pulling on the Standard Banner or by losing a 50/50 chance on the Limited Character Banner. Another reason why some players claim they will save up their Primogems is that recentGenshin Impactleaks revealed that 3.6 will apparently addthe long-awaited Dendro character Baizhu.
Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
