These symbols represent the rewards you will receive upon clearing the next room. Understanding them is crucial for a successful run, even shaping the entirety of your gameplay. From temporary buffs to permanent resources for the House of Hades, these rewards hold significant value.

All Door Symbols In Hades

Door Symbols indicating Artifacts that can be carried to your next run are distinguished by Blue Laurels, whereas, temporary buffs that are lost after the current run are represented by Yellow Laurels.

Blue Laurels

Darkness:Represented by a purple-colored drop, it serves as a resource for purchasing andenhancing abilities in the Mirror of Night.

Chthonic Keys:Represented by a key with a purple gem, it is used for acquiring various weapons for Zagreus to wield in future runs. Additionally, they are required to reset the Mirror of Night.

Gemstones:Represented bythree differently colored gems(yellow, green, red), are utilized for purchasing upgrades and decorations through the House Contractor. They can also be exchanged with the Wretched Broker for various resources.

Nectar:Represented by a bottle half-filled with yellow liquid, it plays a crucial role in increasing your affinity with different characters.Gifting Nectar to a godfor the first time rewards you with a Keepsake.

Gold Laurels

Centaur Heart:Represented by a heart with a red marking, boosts your maximum health by 25 percent for the entirety of the run.

Charon’s Obol:Represented by a golden coin with a red marking, it provides players with Obol, a temporary currency utilized for purchasing items from Charon’s Shop.

Daedalus Hammer:Represented by a hammer, it enhances an aspect of the equipped weapon. However, the buff is temporary and will be lost after the run.

Pom of Power:Represented by a fruit, used to enhance one of Zagreus’s equipped Boons.

Boons:Different icons represent differentGods who will grant you a boonupon clearing the next room. More details on this are below.

Miniboss Room:Represented by a skull icon, it indicates that the next room hosts a boss encounter. The difficulty and type of boss vary depending on whether there is an arrow next to the skull or not.

Charon’s Shop:Represented by a golden skull with a bag, it signifies that the upcoming room is combat-free and instead features Charon’s Shop. Here, you’re able to utilize Obol to purchase items.

NPC Encounter:Represented by a white exclamation point, it indicates that you will encounter an NPC in the following room. This presents an opportunity to progress their individual storyline.
