A hardcoreSkyrimfan has posted a video online, showing their work-in-progress room based on the game. The room features several iconic items fromSkyrimthat players of the game may recognize.

SinceSkyrim’s release in 2011, there’s almost nothing in the game that fans haven’t recreated in another form, whether that be in real life or in another game. For many,Skyrimwas the game that broughtThe Elder Scrollsand open-world RPGs in general into the mainstream, so in this context, its incredible longevity and dedicated fan community make a lot of sense. Even online,Skyrimremains a powerhouse with online forums continuing to discuss the game, with some fans even recentlydebating whichSkyrimenemy would be the easiest to defeat in real life. Just about every topic in the game has someone somewhere on the internet discussing it at some point over the last eleven years.

The video was posted to Reddit by user ChaseDRacks and can be viewedhere. It shows off the room which is aSkyrimfan’s dream, with plenty of items spread throughout that players of the game will have encountered upon their travels. As part of the collection, there’s a troll skull, various alchemy ingredients, a golden claw, a replica of Mehrune’s Razor, and other small trinkets that can be found inSkyrim. According to ChaseDRacks, everything in the room has been purchased online, with a lot of it custom-made from Etsy. There’s a huge community for fans recreating props fromSkyrim, and a lot of fans keep them for themselves. Most recently, another fan made anincredible replica ofSkyrim’s Elven Dagger, and it just shows how highly regardedSkyrimis in the eyes of many fans.

The room was well received by Reddit’sSkyrimcommunity, receiving over 3,500 upvotes within a day of posting. However, it’s still a work in progress, and fans were quick to make their own suggestions in the comments. One of the most common suggestions found in the comments was for ChaseDRacks to add a sweetroll to the collection. Despite their tiny role inSkyrim, sweetrolls have become something of a meme in the game’s community due to a guard’s off-hand comment on them in the game. Some players take these memes further, with one player evenfilling an entire room with sweetrolls inSkyrim.

Skyrim’s community seems to have no end to its creativity, with creations like this still popping up frequently on the internet. As the years pass by withoutThe Elder Scrolls 6, fans might eventually run out of content, even if that seems far away yet. Maybe players will have the sequel by then - if not, they may have to begin generating creations uponSkyrimmods likeSkyblivion, even just to have some fresh inspiration.
