Video games are a pretty expensive hobby. While a pre-owned Indie game might not set you back as much as a new set of golf clubs, some shiny new sneakers, or evena box of Warhammer minis, they’re far from cheap. That’s especially true when it comes to big AAA first-party titles, with some of Sony, Xbox, and Nintendo’s upcoming games setting players back about $70 each. And, in a stroke of both bad and good luck, October is absolutely jam-packed with brand-new releases, a good few of which are those big AAA games.

There are well over 15 major titles heading to consoles and PC in the coming weeks, and gamers better be prepared to shell out a small fortune if they’re planning on picking up the lot. While there are plenty of Indie games and ports dropping in October, this month sees some of themost anticipated AAA gamesrelease, and prices are not overly generous.
