Final Fantasy 7Rebirth has no shortage of side quests. Each of them is unique and provides an escape from the main story of the game. Whenplayers enter the Gongaga Region, they will find that the Community Noticeboard won’t have many jobs that they can take.

How To Start The Spice of Life In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
To beginThe Spice of Lifeside quest, players needto go to the Community Noticeboard and accept the job.Head to Cissnei’s houseand talk to her. Players will learn that Cissnei is having problems with cooking. She will ask Cloud and Aerith to help her out. Once the conversation ends, players need to head outside.
Torgan’s Vegetables
In order tofind Torgan, players will have to follow Melon, Torgan’s dog. After leaving Cissnei’s house, take a left, and you should see a dog and a group of people. Approach them to trigger a dialogue, and thenbegin chasing Melon. Players just need to keep following Melon until they reach Torgan’s place. He willgiveCloud the vegetables, and he will also ask Melon to guide them tothe Rock Salt.
Finding The Gongaga Rock Salt
Following the conversation with Torgan, players will have to begin another hike tofind the Gongaga Rock Salt. All you need to do is follow Melon and kill any fiends that hinder your progress.
Melon has limited HP, so don’t let the fiends kill him.
After fighting three waves of enemies, you will arrive at your destination. Take out the note, which has a sketch of thecorrect Gongaga Rock Salt. In case you’re still having trouble finding theright Rock Salt, you can consult the image below.
Players need to pickthree Gongaga Rock Salts, but you can take the first three and still complete the side quest. However, you will get two stars instead of three when you hand over the ingredients to Cissnei. Other than that, the rewards remain the same.
How To Pick Magonga Mushrooms In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Once you haveprocured the Rock Salts,fast travel back to the village and start making yourway to Magon Hill. Upon reaching the destination, players willneed to call their Chocoboand use its sense of smell to find the Magonga mushrooms. Press and hold the Up button on the D-Pad until a glowing trail appears. Follow it to find thefirst Magonga Mushroom.
This is where it gets tricky. In order to pluck it successfully,players will have to check its pliabilityfirst. Select the side thatbends the most and press the R2 button to tug. Then choose the second, and finally the third. An important thing to remember is thatpliability is different for each player, so there is no universal solution.
If the mushroom’s durability reaches zero, then you will receive a broken mushroom, which will affect your stars at the end of the quest. So, save your game before plucking one.
The next two Magonga Mushrooms are in areas with fiends, so players will have to defeat them before they can recover the ingredients.

After you havecollected the mushrooms, fast travel back to the Gongaga Village and hand overthe ingredients to Cissnei. Finish the cutscene, and players will obtain the followingrewards for completing The Spice of Life side quest:
