Summary

Gamers have been sharing plenty of hilarious moments and bugs encountered inStarfieldsince it launched in September, and one rare visual bug recently featured in a viral post online seems to turn Sarah Morgan into some kind of robot. The various other massive open-world titles from Bethesda Game Studios such as theFalloutandThe Elder Scrollsgames have been hugely popular among the gaming community for many years, but while many of those titles are somewhat infamous for their bugs,Starfieldseems to be one of the studio’s most polished games to date.

Of course, that doesn’t mean that Bethesda Game Studios' most recent major release and first new IP in decades is completely free from bugs. No game is perfect on a technical level, and plenty ofStarfieldfans have been sharing some surprising glitches that they’ve encountered in the game since it was released at the beginning of September. From entire cities vanishing from the world to child characters suddenly assuming the form of an adult when interacting with certain objects, fans have come across more than a few obvious technical issues, some of which are recognizable from previous Bethesda titles. This isn’t too surprising to some, asStarfielduses a new iteration of the same engineused to create titles such asSkyrimandFallout 4.

Many ofStarfield’s bugs are funny at bestand immersion-breaking at worst, with only a few rare bugs actually disrupting gameplay by any significant measure. One entertaining technical hiccup was recently shared in a post online by a fan known as clicheconflict, and it shows a weird visual glitch corrupting Sarah Morgan’s body and making her appear as what can only be described as a robot akin to a synth fromFallout 4. The glitch only seems to affect Sarah’s skin, making her face seem to be divided into differently colored segments, and doesn’t affect any of the other characters in the room. While such a skin pattern almost looks like it could be the result of a fan-made mod, the player who captured this clip apparently encountered it on a vanilla version of the game on Xbox.

Thestaggering scale ofStarfieldand the massive amount of stuff to find throughout the in-game galaxy has led fans to no end of interesting moments to share with the community. Even putting the occasional bug aside,Starfield’s thriving community hasn’t stopped finding new and surprising items, locations, and obscure little details scattered throughout the galaxy.

GivenStarfield’s 1000+ planetsand countless side-missions that are easy to get distracted by, it’s no surprise that even the most avid fans are constantly discovering new things about the game a couple of months after its release. To many,Starfieldseems to offer no end of playtime, which is made all the more interesting thanks to a wealth of post-game content.
