Additionally, Bernthal expressed interest in starring in aCastlevaniafilm. Right now,Netflix is airing its ownCastlevaniaanimated show, with the show being two seasons in, but the addition of Bernthal is something that would likely be welcomed by many fans.

Regardless, Bernthal’s choice of Little Mac is a fairly unusual choice. Bernthal, whoserole inGhost Recon Breakpointis quite prominent, could now be considered a very prolific actor. Having starred in twoGhost Recongames, Bernthal has also displayed his acting chops inThe Walking Dead,Daredevil,The Wolf of Wall Street,Baby Driver,Fury, and more.

Bernthal is no stranger to lending his talents to video games, though. Before his role in theGhost Reconseries, Bernthal also had a role inCall of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Starring as Corporal Jim Decker, he was playable in the game’s Exo Zombies mode. The role may not have been as involved, but it nonetheless likely acquainted the star with acting in the gaming industry.
