InLeague of Legends: Wild Rift, Pyke is an extremely unique character, not only by design but because he is the complete opposite representation of what a “Support” represents. Although he is mainly played as a Support, he can do vast amounts of damage to enemies with his execution damage and is the first Support to have access to invisibility.

The combination of all of these things is why Pyke’s learning curve is higher than most Supports inWild Riftand is why he is seeing some play time in the Mid Lane as well. However, after reading this guide, players will know everything they need to know regarding Pyke to find success with him on the Rift.
Pyke’s Passive Ability
When there’s more than one enemy near Pyke,he stores the damage he receives and can rapidly regenerate his Health back when he is invisible. He also converts extra Health from items into bonus Attack Damage. Pyke is the most vulnerable engage Support, so utilizing this skill is vital to being able to soak damage without dying quickly.
It’s also why this Champion is mostly played as a Support, despite his high damage values because in the Duo Lane. Pyke will always be fighting two or more players, allowing him to make the most of the healing effect from the Passive Ability.

Pyke’s Q Ability
Pyke throws his Harpoon out in a linear path and deals damage while dragging the enemy toward him. This skill is pretty difficult to land, due to the wind-up animation, and the small hitbox but when it lands, it’s nearly a guaranteed kill if it hitsa priority target during anLoLmatch.
The damage it deals is nothing to overlook either. This skill is amazing for isolating enemies from their allies or setting up picks for Pyke’s allied team.

Pyke’s W Ability
Pyke becomes invisible and gains a boost in his Movement Speedwhen his W ability is used. This skill is what makes Pyke an even moreterrifyingLoL: Wilf RiftChampion to go against.
Players won’t be able to dodge what they can’t see coming and aren’t warned that Pyke is nearby until it’s too late, which makes it a great engagement tool. This skill can also be used to escape when in danger since the enemy will have a hard time chasing a target they can’t see.

Pyke’s E Ability
Pyke dashes in a linear path, leaving behind a phantom that dashes towards him shortly after the initial dash is completed. Enemies caught in between this dash will be stunned and take damage. This skill can beused for mobilityto get close enough to have higher odds of landing his Q ability.

It can also be used to escape if players don’t have access to their W ability. This skill also can work wonders in a team fight, since it can hit multiple enemies simultaneously.
Pyke’s Ultimate Ability
Pyke’s iconic execution ability can be used repeatedly due to how it works. When enemies are below a certain threshold of Health, Pyke’s Ultimate Ability instantly kills the enemy and resets the cooldown of it, allowing him to potentially kill all five players on an enemy team if they’re under the threshold of Health needed to activate the instant kill. This skill can be game-changing, as most players will not be prepared foranLoLSupport to be capable of dishing out that much damagein such a small time frame.
If needed, this skill can also be used as an escape, since it allows Pyke to dash to a target location and mark an X on the ground when performing it. Any enemy caught within the X will take a lot of damage or be instantly killed, depending on how much HP they have.

Pyke’s Best Build
This build provides Pyke with tons ofAttack Damage, Lethality, andAbility Haste, which is exactly what he needs to swiftly kill enemies or to set up kills for his allies. Pyke’s Q, E, and Ultimate Abilityscale greatly with Attack Damage, making the stat even more valuable for him. Guardian Angel will give Pyke more room for aggression, despite how vulnerable he is because he’ll have a second chance at life, due to the resurrection effect ofGuardian Angel.
Electrocutewill work wonders, especially in the Early Game because of the extra Burst Damage it will provide for Pyke to set up his Ultimate Ability with ease. Lastly, the Ability Haste will shorten Pyke’s cooldowns, giving him even more room for outplay potential, and setting up plays for himself and his allies.
