Here are the biggest game releases currently scheduled for March 2022 that are helping it be such a significant month in the first quarter of the new year. Keep in mind that release dates can always change, so it’s possible some of these games will get pushed back to a later date.
Big Game Releases of March 2022
March 2022 is starting things off strong with therelease ofGran Turismo 7, the latest entry in Sony’s critically-acclaimed PlayStation exclusive racing game franchise.Gran Turismo 7is of particular interest for fans as it will mark the franchise’s debut on Sony’s next-generation PlayStation 5 console. The latestGran Turismogames haven’t earned quite the same level of praise as earlier entries, so it will be interesting to see if the new one can return the franchise to its glory days when it launches on March 4.
March 4 will also see the release ofTriangle Strategy, a tactical RPG in the vein ofFinal Fantasy Tacticswith an art style reminiscent ofOcotopath Traveler. Thankfully, the wait for that question to be answered is almost over asTunicis just a few months away from release.
Tunicand most of the other games coming out in March 2022 are brand new releases, but there are some re-releases and remasters as well. The first isPersona 4 Arena Ultimaxon March 17, a re-release of the popular 2014 fighting game. And finally, the last major new game release for March 2022 that has an actual release date isWeird Westfrom WolfEye Studios and Devolver Digital.
