One of the series' earlier twists was that he was, in fact, the Green Goblin who was introduced much earlier in the series. While the comics were a bit more diverse on the matter, most of the adaptations of Spider-Man tend to have Oscorp and Norman Osborne in particular at the center of many of the web slinger’s woes. The character was famously played by Willem Dafoe whose performance inSpider-Man: No Way Homereminded fans everywherewhy Green Goblin is Spider-Man’s greatest antagonist. It appears, however, that the video game version of the character may need to find better employees to research Spider-Man.
