Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Lucky Dragon update opens up a whole new Mulan-themed realm to explore with various quests to complete. While these quests give you many different items, perhaps one of the trickiest to get is Mulan’s Key. When you progress through the Mulan Realm inDisney Dreamlight Valley, you might find yourself scratching your head and wonderingwhere to find Mulan’s Keyas an objective near the end of one particular quest from this Realm. The objective asks you to search the Realm for a key to unlock Mulan’s storage chest. However, this is a pretty large area to search, especially when compared to other realms in the game.
When you enter the Mulan Realm, you’ll probably spot Mulan’s orange treasure chest upon completing the first quest in the Realm calledA New Recruit. Fortunately, you don’t have to go too far to find Mulan’s key, as the precise location isn’t too tricky to spot once you know which area to search.
Where To Find Mulan’s Key In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Mulan’s key is a collectible quest item that unlocks Mulan’s personal storage chest in the Mulan Realm. You can find Mulan’s chest outside Mulan’s tent near the cooking stove and close to the second realm exit point.
However, you won’t be able to find the key to unlock Mulan’s chest until you reach close to the end ofDisney Dreamlight Valley’s Clearing the Road quest. This involves clearing up the aftermath of a landslide and ends with players receiving a gift from Mulan as a reward, which is where Mulan’s key comes in.
Mulan’s Key Location
You can find Mulan’s keynorth of the second camp entrance. This is the entrance that takes you past the rockslide area, rather than the entrance where you first entered the camp.
Head up the path to find a group of wooden carts towards the end. You should be able to see Mulan’s Key on the ground near some rocks by its golden sparkles. Collect the key, and return to Mulan’s storage chest to see what’s inside.
What Does Mulan’s Key Unlock In Disney Dreamlight Valley?
When you open the chest using Mulan’s key, inside you can grab a reward calledMulan’s Surprise. Open it to find theDefender’s Sword, which isa decorative furniture itemthat you can place indoors as a wall decoration.
Upon completing Clearing the Road, you can then welcome Mulan and Mushu to the Valley once you’ve built a house for them and begin their Friendship questlines.
