The rest of the team is solid enough to play their roles but they also are going to step aside and let the MyPlayer do what they want. Toronto is the place to be for gamers who want the flexibility to score at any level or pass with success.

Similar to Toronto, Minnesota needs a point guard. But unlike the Raptors, this squad has a pretty strong identity. Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards, one ofthe best shooting guards in the game, are scoring machines and Rudy Gobert is a defensive master in the paint.

Players at point guard for the Timberwolves will want to carve out a careful role that can pass to their best weapons. On defense, make sure to lock down the perimeter. Feel free to be aggressive with steals since a slasher will still have to deal with Gobert to score.

The lowest-rated starting point guard in the game is Kyle Lowry. This means the Heat, despite making it to the Finals last season, are the easiest team to step in and start at the point guard position. Caleb Martin at power forward isn’t great, but the rest of the team is quite impressive.
The obvious highlight is Jimmy Butler, one ofthe best small forwards around, who will help at all levels on offense and defense. Herro and Butler are incredible passing targets, so leading the league in assists in Miami is very doable, even as a rookie.

The Jazz are a pretty muted team with nobody great and nobody bad. They could use a true superstar on the roster, especially at the point guard spot. After replacing Collin Sexton, the team will be at least competitive with even the best teams in the league.

If Utah gets one ofthe best point guards, they could still use some assistance on the inside. This is a great place to average triple-doubles with big rebound potential. Also, making a slasher or dunker will be useful as the team could stand some more inside scoring presence and won’t get in the way of a point guard who wants to take this role.

The downside to playing for the Celtics is that Derrick White is still pretty solid. However, he’s tied for the lowest-rated starter on the team. It may take a few extra weeks to grab the starting job from him but the payoff in Boston is better than any other team on this list.
Tatum, Brown, and Porzingis can all shoot from any level on the court, so the playmaking potential for the Celtics is unfathomably high. This is a team that has been close to a championship for the last several years and they’re just one MyPlayer at point guard away from winning the title easily.
