A leak has revealed a newBorderlandscollection calledThe Borderlands Compilation: Pandora’s Boxwhich may indicate that an announcement is coming soon.Borderlands 3andTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsare absent from the currently availableBorderlandscollections, but this new one could very well resolve that for fans that have yet to catch up on the franchise.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsbroke new ground when it was released in 2022, applyingtheBorderlandsformulato a fantastical setting based on aDungeons & Dragons-style tabletop game. Given thatBorderlands 3andTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsare not part of anyBorderlandscollections, it seems that Gearbox Software may be working on a new one-stop shop for theBorderlandsseries.

The Film and Publication Board of South Africa has a listing for the announcedBorderlands Compilation: Pandora’s Box.TheBorderlands Compilation: Pandora’s Boxwas rated on April 21 next to games likeThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the KingdomandEA Sports WRC 23. WithTears of the Kingdomhaving been released in MayandEA Sports WRC 23set to drop on July 28, theBorderlandscollection may be coming sooner rather than later.
The upcomingBorderlandscollection could potentially feature every title in the main series to date, withTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsperhaps packed in as a spin-off game, though that’s just speculation at this time. SinceTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsisn’t technically set on Pandora, there’s a chance that the collection may skip that entry in the series entirely. It’s also possible that theTales from the Borderlandsgames could be included in such a collection as well, but again, all fans can do is speculate until more official info is released.
Before the release ofThe Borderlands Compilation: Pandora’s Box, fans could catch up on the series with theBorderlands Legendary Collection. This collection includes the Game of the Year edition of the first title,Borderlands 2, andBorderlands: The Pre-Sequel, notably missingBorderlands 3andTiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
Although the leak suggests that it may be soon, it’s currently unclear when the latestBorderlandscollection will release. The April listing for it may suggest that it will be launched soon, but 2K Games may pause things untiltheBorderlandsmovieis released. Some games that have been released in recent years have been shadow-dropped almost immediately after an announcement trailer, withThe Borderlands Compilation: Pandora’s Boxpotentially following that trend given that the included games already exist individually, but fans will just have to wait and see what happens.
