Summary

A fan has pointed out an obvious flaw in one of the newDisney Dreamlight Valleyhouses. Disney’s take on theAnimal Crossingformula has gotten many players regularly excited whenever new content arrives. Whether it is a familiar character or the addition of fresh designs that players can use, updates provide gamers with options that help sustain interest. Themost recentDisney Dreamlight Valleypatchinvolved the introduction of a new themed realm based onBeauty and the Beast, including new characters Belle and Beast.

Even so, the highlight of the game remains to be the designer feature. Players are encouraged to design their houses, clothes, and other items they can manipulate to build the world of their dreams. One dedicated fan took it to heart and designed their very ownfall-themed furniture set inDisney Dreamlight Valley. Still, even with the abundance of options and customizability, there are still some things that stick out like a sore thumb and can not be changed.

Reddit user iamsilow pointed out one glaring flaw inDisney Dreamlight Valley’s new mushroom house. It seems the house design’s pre-built grass landscape does not match the color of the forest grass in the game. There’s not yet an option to adjust that portion’s palette, so other players from the comments section have shared their own thoughts. The suggestions range from adding a path and wildflowers to possibly adding custom rugs that match the grass color. One commenter mentioned the same problem regarding the purple trees and the frosted heights. While not necessarily game-breaking, the obvious differences in color do break a little bit of the immersion.

While many people considerDisney Dreamlight Valleyto beone of the best house-designing games, the lack of options to change small details such as these does take away from the experience a little bit. A game centered on customization should allow more flexibility, especially when it comes to factors that would affect the game’s aesthetic. Hopefully, the developers can find a solution for this sort of instance.

Granted, the users do have several options whenchanging the players' house exteriors inDisney Dreamlight Valley, so maybe additional choices will allow tweaking of smaller micro-details like the roof or light color, or even the type of lot pad the house will stand on. Some fans have mentioned that snow-covered porches would be something they’d like to have in some of the Dream houses. Hopefully, Gameloft will consider all this feedback for any future updates.

Disney Dreamlight Valleyis available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
