Now, another avid fan shares that they spotted a glowing ghost ship floating along as they were peacefully fishing on the shore.
Players would likely agree that the insane amount of things that can be done inNew Worldis what contributes to long hours being logged into the game. The MMORPG offers a wide variety of engaging activities, whether it is going through the main storyline, fighting inwars versus otherNew Worldfactions, or something as simple as fishing. And even in such a mundane task as fishing, the devs spared no attention to detail, and provided entertainment via casual appearances of a ghost ship.

On Reddit, user lilpixieBA posted a short video clip of their discovery ofNew World’s ghost ship. This was when they were fishing along Cape Thomas Beach in First Light, one of the beginner areas found in thelargeNew Worldmap. While holding the fishing line, a green luminescent ghost ship appeared on the foggy horizon, and sailed for a few seconds on the screen before disappearing once again. Stating that they have not seen the ghost ship before, the Redditor excitedly posted about the occurrence on the online forum.
Many of the user comments on the subReddit shared the same surprised reaction, stating that they have not been lucky enough to spot the ghost ship once, even though they have logged hundreds of hours into the MMORPG. Some even mentioned that they were just as stunned as lilpixieBA when the ghost ship first popped up on their screens. Though one or two toxic comments popped up on the thread, the positiveNew Worldcommunity rallied behind the original poster to back up their exciting discovery of the ghost ship.
WithNew Worldremaining on top of Steam charts, it is highly possible that one or two players will make more exciting discoveries like this in the future. Hopefully the development team addresses the many bugs and server issues first, to ensure that the player base continues to have the best experience on the island of Aeternum.
