Someone has managed to recreate NASA’s James Webb Telescope inNo Man’s Sky, which is very fitting given the heavy space themes of the 2016 release. Featuringone of the biggest maps in gaming, Hello Games' title is simply teeming with exploration potential. With around 18 quintillion procedurally generated planets to discover, fans have a digital universe to play around in. Initially released to much controversy, the game has since redeemed itself to become a beloved entry in the sci-fi genre.
In fact, so popular is it now that someone is hoping anofficialNo Man’s SkyLEGO setwill eventually be made by the Danish toy company. There is a thriving and dedicated community of players that, thanks to the base building mechanics added into the game a few months after release, are only too keen to show off their constructions and design ideas. Many of these projects are very impressive, and one fan has shared their love of not only the game, but of science and space in general.

Reddit user Cold_Goal_2330 has shown off their building prowess inNo Man’s Skyby creating the James Webb Space Telescope within the game, uploading a number of images of the impressive structure. What’s even more interesting about it is those who haven’t seen the official telescope could easily believe it’s something that belongs in the space-faring title, while those who are familiar with it can see that it’s a pretty accurate representation of the real thing. It’s hard to tell how big Cold_Goal_2330’s version is, but one of the images shows an interior shot and it appears to be quite sizeable.

WithNo Man’s Skygetting frequent updatesand the title being ported to Nintendo Switch last October, Hello Games has really turned things around over the past few years. What started with one of the most disastrous launches in all of gaming has become a praised space exploration game that has a near-infinite amount of space to explore and affords players the opportunity to create some pretty incredible things.
