During its developer conference in San Francisco, Roblox Corporation confirmed thatRobloxwill release on PS4 and PS5 in October 2023. Roblox Corporation reassures fans that the PlayStation versions will launch with the “full catalog ofRobloxexperiences” found in the existing versions of the game. The company teases that “it’s not stopping there” with the PlayStation release since it wants to makeRobloxavailable on all the most popular platforms. However, Roblox Corporation did not explicitly state which other platforms the game could be released for in the near future.
Alongside the PlayStation release,Robloxfor Xbox Onewill receive one of its biggest updates yet. The Xbox version will receive “a new look,” so major UI changes appear to be imminent in October. Additionally, Xbox gamers can expect more frequent updates, improved content recommendations, and a better overall user experience going forward. The PlayStation version will likely ship with many of these improvements in mind to maintain parity between all console versions ofRoblox.
