Summary
One Pieceis currently in the Egghead Island Arc and it has certainly been an incredible start to the Final Saga of the series. The intensity is already through the roof and it can only get better from here onwards. While the Egghead Island Arc took fans all over the world ofOne Piece, the main focus of the arc is, of course, the Straw Hat Pirates.

Currently, this pirate crew is facing a siege by the Navy and is on the path leading up to the incredible Egghead Incident. Fans already know that Luffy is fighting against Admiral Kizaru and, at the same time, Zoro is fighting against Rob Lucci. From the Monster Trio, this leaves Sanji, who has yet to engage in any major fight following the siege. However, that might be remedied sooner than fans might think and it is only a matter of time before he serves his major rolein the Egghead Island arc.
Sanji On Egghead
When the Straw Hat Pirates arrived on Egghead, most members of the crew were granted a role by Oda. As always, through Luffy, Oda explored Egghead Island and gave fans an idea of what this place actually looks like. Meanwhile, the likes of Zoro and Brook stayed behind on the ship for quite a while. This was done in an attempt to guard the vessel from any incoming threats. Meanwhile, the majority of the group went to meet Shaka, one of the bodies of Vegapunk. Sanji was with this group and witnessed the many revelations that Vegapunk dropped while explaining his story and his creations to the Straw Hat Pirates and, through them, the fans.
Shortly afterwards,when trouble brewed on Egghead Island, every member of the Straw Hat Pirates did their part in their fights. Sanji most certainly played one of the biggest roles. While the likes of Luffy and Zoro had to team up in taking on one of the Seraphims, Sanji did that all by himself. After S-Shark attacked Nami, Sanji took it upon himself to fight him. Sadly, the fight between Sanji and S-Shark was not shown by Oda in great detail. He did, however, show Sanji being completely dominant in this fight, being strong enough to take punches from the Seraphim without any damage. In a fight between these two characters, Sanji certainly held quite an edge and that was clear for the fans to see.
Sanji Sealing Kaku
Unfortunately, this fight, along with every other major fight on Egghead prior to the arrival of the Navy, was cut short by Oda. When the Navy arrived on Egghead Island, Sanji was seen without any injuries, meaning his fight with S-Shark went well for him. At the same time, fans know that Sanji was in charge of refueling all the fighters present around him. Given that everyone had exhausted themselves, Sanji took it upon himself to cook for them and make sure that they were ready for what they were going to face. At the same time, the Navy launched their siege and the powerful Admiral Kizaru finally jumped into action and entered the island.
Around this time, Rob Lucci attempted the assassination of Dr. Vegapunk. It was ZorLro who jumped into action and took Lucci with himself outside the main lab. Meanwhile, Sanji showed his clever nature once again and immediately took the bubble gum from Lilith and sealed awayKaku, rendering him useless in this fight.Since then, fans have not seen much of Sanji at all, suggesting that he has a different role to play on egghead Island.

Meanwhile, Luffy and Zoro continue to fight their opponents. Luffy is currently engaged in a very intense fight against Kizaru for which he had to turn to Gear 5. Meanwhile, Zoro has had to go all out against Lucci as well, and it appears that they are evenly matched, for the most part. Sanji will have to find his opponent as the arc continues.
Sanji On The Fabriophase
InOne Piecechapter 1093, it was made quite clear that Sanji now has a different mission at hand. Every member of the crew is doing something at the moment and Sanji has a very peculiar job at hand. He is going to accompany Dr. Vegapunk and Atlas to the Fabriophase, where Bonney is fighting against the Marines all by herself. The goal is to turn the Pacifistas on their side once again and overwrite the orders that were given by Kizaru. While fans might not see much in this at first glance, it could end up being very important.
There is a reason as to why older paired Sanji with Vegapunk, out of all the characters. Sanji has a history with another scientist, who happens to be his very own father. In fact, Judge has been a close associate of Vegapunk in the past. Furthermore, Sanji’s scientific changes recently started showing themselves as well and in this very arc, Oda haslikened him to the Seraphimson more than one occasion already. There is definitely something going on with Sanji and his lineage factor manipulation that, perhaps, Vegapunk will explore as the two reach the Fabriophase.
When compared to the other members of the Straw Hat Pirates, Sanji has been among the characters who have had the most plot-driven story arcs associated with themselves. Sanji is deeply linked to the Germa plotline and, at the same time, the Seraphim one as well. There is a lot of potential for Sanji to do great things in Egghead and have his powers further explored and fans are incredibly excited about that.
Sanji’s Big Role on Egghead
As Sanji goes to the Fabriophase, he will most definitely face two obstacles. The first one is going to be to keep Bonney safe. Bonney is a skilled fighter but to face off against nine Vice Admirals, she is not going to be enough. To that end, Sanji is going to have to join in and help her. Fans know that Sanji is an extremely capable fighter, with a bounty of 1.032 billion berries on his head. He can surely take care of multiple Vice Admirals of the Navy at the same time.
Furthermore, there’s also a possibility forSanji to tap into his Germa powers.If he does that in front of Vegapunk, this would give him an opportunity to step in and give an explanation as to how his powers work and what exactly is going on in his body. The source of Sanji’s heat resistance and powers, such as Diable and Ifrit Jambe, has still not been clarified by Oda. Perhaps, that is exactly what Vegapunk will do.
Finally, it is possible that Sanji will then get his major fight as Saturn joins the battle. Fans know for a fact that Saturn is not going to be fighting anyone less than the strongest on the island. Perhaps, Luffy is going to switch his attention from Kizaru to him at some point. When that happens, the Marine Admiral will be open to take on in battle and it is possible that it is Sanji who will take him on. It would make even more sense if Zoro joins him in battle and the likes of Jinbe take over in the fight against Rob Lucci. There is certainly a lot of potential here for major fights and character moments for Sanji, and fans simply have to be patient.
