Palworldhas risen to be one of the most popular contemporary video games, with a core tenet of the gameplay revolving around Pals and their various elemental types. There currently are nine types, each with theirown strengths and weaknesses. Each of these types possess distinct roles, be it in combat, Partner Skills, or through a Work Sustainability, such aselectric-type Pals being able to generate electricity.
Water is one of the types,populated by a myriad of Pals, some better than others, and hostsnumerous active skillsapplicable to different areas of gameplay. So, it is worth knowing which locations are better than others for catching various or powerful water Pals.
Numerous Locations Featuring Less Powerful Pals
Available Pals:
Despite this entry listing various locations, they all host the same water-type Pals in a similar concentration between them. Pengullet and Celaray are the least common Pals in these locations, but can still be found regularly when visiting.
Done to ensure balance, these locations feature a good frequency of the three water-type Pals mentioned, but don’t host any stronger, more powerful water Pals. Any players new to the game will find these locations useful asPengullet and Teafant are good early on, but for those who have progressed further, other locations will be more valuable.
4Bamboo Groves
Featuring another hunting ground for Fuack, this location could prove fruitful for players who are still in the earlier stages of the game. The main reason to visit this location is to obtain a Relaxaurus, one of the strongest water Pals worth catching. However, they are spread out in this location compared to other hotspots.
This area technically also hosts another Pal, but one that is underground and not actually in theBamboo Groves. Broncherry Aqua can be found in the Shoal Mineshaft and is a strong water-type Pal. At times, a subspecies of a specific type must bebred to obtain it, as is the case with Elphidran Aquaand Suzaku Aqua, but not Broncherry Aqua, which can be caught here instead. However, if not going for Broncherry Aqua, Relaxaurus would be the only reason to head here.
A High Concentration Of Pals In A Small Area
Verdant Brookis a large area featuring numerous Pals roaming within it. The Gobfin’s Turf fast travel point is specifically where some very good water-types can be found.
The aptly named Gobfin’s Turf hosts Gobfin, a strong water Pal, but also features Surfent, one of thebest Pals to ride with its mount Partner Skill. Both of these Pals are solid water-type options worth catching, especially with the location being a bit smaller, making it easier to spot them. Both of these Pals are decent to use on a base, but only have a few Work Suitabilities between them. Gobfin, however, can be used as a good support Pal due to its Partner Skill that buffs attack power.
Home To Some Excellent And Versatile Water-Type Pals
Among the various Wildlife Sanctuaries, this one holds some of the best water-type Pals inPalworld. Azurobe and Penking are very useful Pals that should to be caught. Azurobe also has a boss version if players want more of a challenge than a regular Azurobe. Both of them can be found inNo. 1Wildlife Sanctuary.
Both of these Pals are good for use on a base due to theirWork Suitabilities. Penking is especially competent at this, with five different Work Suitabilites.
Featuring The Best Water-Type Pal
Palworld’spremier water-type Pal, Jormuntide, can only be caught in two locations. One of these is the lake within theBamboo Groves, just south of the Investigator’s Fork fast travel point.
The appearance of a Jormuntide is mainly what makes this location a great spot, but Surfent can also be found here. Jormuntide is a great addition for combat, but can be used on a base as well. Surfent is a bonus benefit to visiting this area, and is a solid option for both combat and work, as well as a decent choice to ride as a mount.
