Fan art ofPokemonis always a treat to the eyes, especially when it’s a reimagining. OnePokemonfan showed off their fan art ofPokemonfusions with interesting results with the Pokemon they used.

It’s believedPokemonfusions have been created by fans since the very beginning with the originalPokemongames, but there’s no clear origin. Some websites have been established in this age of the internet that allow fans to fuse two Pokemon of their choosing just to see what they could look like.Fanart ofPokemonfusions has also been made to imagine these designs with more flair and style.

Reddit user Quotedotlass posted a short slideshow of pictures showing off theirtakes onPokemonfusionssuch as Gardevoir and Ninjask, Greninja and Porygon Z, Hakamo-o, and Salazzle, among some others. The images depict different poses and scenes for each fusion. For example, one image shows a combination of Salazzle and Hakamo-o that’s seen acting like royalty with unevolved versions rushing around like servants.

Some fusion designs even change the overall theme of theoriginal Pokemon, and such is the case with Quotedotlass' fusion of Torterra and Hippowdon. Torterra went from being almost a walking piece of greenery to a walking zen garden due to Hippowdon’s ground-type. The artist was very creative in the fusions of these Pokemon to the point that it would be fun to have them exist in the game so players could catch them.

Fusions of Pokemon are some of the most interesting parts of the fandom where multiple new ideas and designs of Pokemon are found easily. The fusion of Gardevoir and Ninjask is very interesting because it keeps the style of Gardevoir but with the bug-type visuals of Ninjask. All of these fusions are interesting combinations that work very well together. Sometimes the combinations are mismatched likeWurmple and Arceus from anotherPokemonfan, but these have a bit more to work with to make the designs seem original.

These fusions answer the questions about whether these Pokemon could look cool if fused together, and the art is well done. It’s true these combined Pokemon might not truly exist in-game in the near future, but it would be cool to see these fusions in action. With theirnew Pokemonforms, types, and possible new tactics to go with it, it could build an interesting battle style. With how popular this trend is, only time will tell if The Pokemon Company decides to roll with the idea or not. With a newPokemongame just around the corner, anything is possible.
