In the recentPokemon GOupdate, Niantic launched a new Party Play mode. Party Play allows players to gather a group of up to four trainers to play and explore thePokemon GOworld together. In this mode, players can complete Party Challenges, participate in raids, and catch Pokemon together.

Pokemon GO: What is the Party Challenge?
Party Play inPokemon GOallows a group of up to four players to play the game together, explore the world, and complete Party Challenges. Party Play is unlocked after the trainer reaches level 15, and this mode requires players to stay close together, or else they will be disconnected from the party. A key feature here is Party Challenges, which can be completed with friends to get various in-game rewards.
When players join a party or create one, they receive a pop-up with all available party challenges. Then, the party leader has to choose one of the challenges they want to complete with the group.

There are many different Party Challenges that can rangefrom spinning PokeStopsor Gyms, catching certain Pokemon, participating in raids, and much more.
Keep in mind that players are limited to one hour of Party Play. After that time runs out, the group will lose all progress on unfinished challenges and have to re-create the group to receive new ones.
