Red Dead Online’s recent string of updates has introduced a wide variety of wild animals for players to track and hunt down, though some have found themselves be the hunted, likeoneRed Deadplayer who nearly got killed by an alligatorthey thought was dead, which was most likely due to a glitch.

Players have also been able to transform themselves into stags if they consume a certain herb, which appears to be tied tothe appearance of the Ghost Stag.Following that, the game now lets players turn into another, albeit harmless, animal: a rabbit.

The method of doing so is almost the same as turning into a stag. First, a Vitalism Studies pamphlet must be bought from Harriet. This step is tricky to do, though, since it’s not exactly cheap. Players will need to spend eight Gold Bars to get their hands on it.

Once a player is in possession of the pamphlet, they just need to find three batches of Harrietum Officianalis flowers. With that, players can turn into a little rabbit and hop about for at least five minutes. So far, it seems to be a cute novelty and not actually provide any benefits, as opposed tothe stag transformation, which some players used to attack other animals and NPCs for their own amusement.

Fans also believe that two more animal transformations are on their way, as dataminers have discovered what appear to be two more Vitalism Studies pamphlets depicting a boar and a possum. This is likely as it has been previously reported that thefour ghost animals popping up as part of the Halloween seasonare the aforementioned stag, a rabbit, a boar, and a possum.

ARed Dead Onlineupdate from Rockstar earlier today has also confirmed two new legendary animals that some players may wish they could transform into, bears. Specifically, the Legendary Owiza Bear and the Legendary Ridgeback Spirit Bear.

The former hunts at night, especially during rain, and can be found near the Dakota River, while the latter hunts near Little Creek River during the Day. Both are described as being incredibly aggressive so players will want to be extra careful hunting these two.

As for future updates, dataminers believe thatthis Halloween will bring with it zombies. Whether they’re part of a separate mode, like the originalRed Dead Redemption’sUndead NightmareDLC, or will populateRed Dead Onlineas enemies for a limited time is unknown.

Red Dead Onlineis available on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
