The first puzzle thatResident Evil Village: Shadows of Roseplayers encounter is to find the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Masks so that they can claim the Crystal. While the first of the three masks in was fairly straightforward to find, the second one is more difficult for players to obtain. Not only that, but the Silver Mask is much more closely guarded within the castle itself.

But ifResident Evil Villageplayers are quick and careful, they should have no trouble adding the second of the three masks to their collection. Here is how players can find and obtain the Silver Mask.
Find The Monocular Key
The Silver Mask can be found beyond the door in the courtyard that requires the Monocular Key. So the first thing players should do is find the key needed for that door. to obtain the Monocular Key, players should go up the stairs in the Main Hall of the castle. Since players will now havethe ability to destroy cores, they will be able to get past the mold blocking their path upstairs. As players remove the other cores blocking their path, a large monster will spawn. Players cannot harm it, so they must run into the nearby room. There, Michael will seal the door and tells players to check inside the next room.
In this small room, players will find another flask just like the one that allows them to destroy cores. The difference, however, is that this second flask grants players the ability tostun enemies with Rose’s Powers. After obtaining the flask, players will be able to return to the hallway and proceed to the Drawing Room where the Monocular Key is located. There are several enemies that stand between players and the Drawing Room, and it is up to players to decide if they want to try and run past them or kill them.
Unlock The Monocular Door
OnceResident Evil Villageplayers have the key, they can return to the Courtyard and use the Monocular Key on the door they couldn’t open before. This leads players up to the Halls of Ablution, where playerswill need to solve a puzzleto access a secret passage to the basement. Once in the basement, it won’t be long before players will be able to find the Silver Mask. Of course, in order to get the mask players will need to sneak past the large monster from earlier that is now roaming around in the basement.
To make matters more difficult, there are also several cores that block off passages. There are enough objects in the room to hide behind, but ifResident Evil Villageplayers are found by the monster they can simply run back to the ladder leading up from the basement as the monster can’t follow them there. Once the monster resumes its patrol, it will be safe to go back and continue looking for the Silver Mask.
Take The Silver Mask
Once players have successfully navigated past the large monster, they will find the Silver Mask on a statue in the corner of the room. Once the mask is picked up, players will want to start running to the ladder as fast as they can.In addition to the large monster, several of the smaller monsters will spawn and start chasingResident Evil Villageplayers.
There are too many to fight all at once, so it is recommended to only stun or kill the ones that are in the way. After crawling through the small hole to the ladder, players will be in the clear and can begin searching for the final mask that stands between Rose and her effortsto get rid of her powers.
