Based on theAll Souls Trilogyby Deborah Harkness, this adaptation has it all: witches, vampires, and werewolves. And all of them seem to have problems with each other – sometimes small, other times big. Like the three books, the series went on for three seasons and gathered its own fandom, marveling at the chemistry between the two protagonists: the witch, played by Teresa Palmer, and the vampire, played by Matthew Goode. It wasone of the amazing shows that ended in 2022, and unless Deborah Harkness writes another novel, it will stay there.

Diana Bishop, a witch who doesn’t know how far her powers can go, encounters a strange manuscript by mistake which has the power to shift their world. She gets help from Matthew Clairmont, an ancient vampire who can’t seem to keep away from her.

When Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman came together and wroteGood Omensin 1990, the fans of the genre couldn’t believe their luck. It is the same feeling they had in 2019, when the series premiered, with Michael Sheen and David Tennant as the main heroes: an angel and a demon. The first season ended the book’s story, soeveryone now waits for what will happen in season two, since there is no more of the story to tell.
