Pokimane Gaming Session Prompts Multiple $30,000+ Charity Bids

The opportunity to play games alongside Pokimane has seemingly turned quite a bit of heads, with the offer already attracting over 120 bids on fundraising platformTiltify. As of July 17, the leading bid amounts to $30,200, followed by another $30,000 offer. Nearly a dozen people in total have previously made at least one five-digit bid after thecharity auctionwent live on July 15.

That’s without accounting for what appear to have been joke six-digit bids, of which there were another dozen or so. The highest of them amounted to half a million dollars, with the bidder identifying themselves as FaZe Lacy. Although Tiltify allows registered accounts to use any public name they want, one of the newestFaze Clan members, Nick “Lacy” Fosco, may have indeed been behind this offer, as he publicly asked Pokimane to “check the bid again” in response to her promoting the auction on Twitter. Several other FaZe Clan members sent identical tweets to the streamer. Since all of the six-digit bids have been removed from the auction’s page as of July 17, it would appear that none of them constituted serious commitments.

Nevertheless, the gaming session with Pokimane still boasts the title of the currently most valuable item at CDawgVA’s auction. Its latest bid is more than twice the size of the $15,000 pledge offered for anElden Ringposter signed by FromSoftware President Hidetaka Miyazakias part of the ongoing charity sale.

Other items featured in the fundraising effort include JaidenAniamtions' diamond YouTube play button and an official Pirate Software challenge coin, which have attracted $13,200 and $5,750 bids, respectively. Meanwhile, the bidding for a gaming session with CDawgVA and Twitch streamer Ironmouse has so far topped out at $19.000. The winners of the auction will be announced during CDawgVA’s upcoming livestream on July 19. All proceeds from the charity sale will go to the IDF.
