Unlike other games with branching storylines and more decisions, players need not worry about their actions in most of the game’s missions.Star Wars: The Force Unleashedis a linear gamethat brings players to a handful of different locations but doesn’t give them the freedom to alter their path until the very end.
Thefinal mission ofStar Wars: The Force Unleashedtakes Starkiller, the game’s protagonist, to an incomplete Death Star and this is the mission where players can alter how their story ends. The decision doesn’t come until the end of this level and players have to face off against the most challenging enemies inThe Force Unleashedbefore they can get there. This includes every type of stormtrooper in the game as well as mechanical mini-bosses and an intense showdown with Darth Vader.

How to Unlock the Light Side Ending?
After challenging Darth Vader and defeating him, players will be put into a cutscene that lays out their options. This cutscene shows the Emperor requesting that Starkiller,the protagonist ofStar Wars: The Force Unleashed, kill Darth Vader and join the Dark side for good. This offer is then interrupted as Jedi Rahm Kota attempts to intervene and is attacked by the Emperor. This cutscene drops players into their choice of either the Light side ending or the Dark side ending.
Players need to head to the left and attack the Emperor in order to achieve the Light side ending for this game. This will lead players into their most challenging fight to this point as they battle the Emperor. Defeating this character requires players to masterStar Wars: The Force Unleashed’s quick-time eventsbut, once they have, it will jump to the final cutscene of the game. The Rebel Alliance has been saved, and the credits begin to roll.
