AStarfieldplayer known as RandomAzzy on Reddit showed their recreation of the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. Decorated in black, the vehicle has a pointed nose and sharp edges like its real-life counterpart. It’s made up of Nova Cowling 2L-BF, Deimos Spine A-Fore, Deimos Hull A, Supernova 2200 Engine, SF40 Sheared Flow Reactor, NG-6 Landing Bay, and Helium-3 Tank modules. One thing to note is that these engines push more than 2400 mass at 100 mobility, which means the vehicle is also effective in space combat. The original poster also claimed that it has a base cost of 112,378 credits.

This ultimate jet fighter can have up to six companions on board, but the crew capacity can be increased with additional habs. SomeStarfieldplayers on the Reddit thread said that it reminds them of stealth ships fromThe Expanseseries. It remains to be seen if RandomAzzy will upgrade their build with new modules in the future.

Starfieldtakes place across multiple star systemsfilled with planets, where players can build their outposts, gather resources, raid enemy bases, and explore beautiful locations. To reach one of these planets, players must have a ship that consists of different modules like engines, dockers, habs, and storage. These parts are obtained from several vendors near the landing pads. Players can get more modules by defeating enemy ships and plundering their cargo compartments. Ship parts are the only option for players to repair their vehicles while traveling in space.

ThoughStarfieldhas been out for a few weeks, many players have provided the community with intricate ship designs. For example, one player built thereplica of the Federal Corvette fromElite Dangerous, while another put together a ship that looks like Optimus Prime.

Starfieldis available on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
