Every major city inStarfieldhas at least one store devoted to raw resources, andon Neon that store is called Mining League. However, on a world with no solid ground and no place to set an outpost, the store’s owner has trouble attracting customers.

That’s why the owner, Saburo Okadigbo, asks players for help with theStarfieldmission “Saburo’s Solution.” This mission involves talking with a lot of merchants, but not all of them are equally helpful. This guide will help players avoid running around any more than they have to.

How to Start Saburo’s Solution

Players can get a hint about this side mission by listening in on Neon Security officers as they chat about the various merchants and people in need of help in the city. This adds a note to the activities log, but players can start this mission without it by visiting the Mining Exchange and asking Saburo about the issues he’s having with running a business for prospectors on a planet covered in water.

Eventually, players can volunteer to help Saburo. At this point, he’ll tell players they’re the key to saving his company, but they don’t have to do anything special. All he wants is for players to deliver five flyers tosome of the other businesses on Neon. It’s up to the player to decide which businesses to ask.

Who Will Take Saburo’s Flyers?

Players can walk up to a majority of the merchants on Neon and ask them to take a flyer. Some of them refuse, others take one but don’t seem interested, and still others seem genuinely interested in the idea. Players don’t need to track down the most interested merchants to finish this mission or get a better outcome, they only need to find five merchants who will take the flyer off their hands. These merchants are:

Two shops in the Underbelly will also take a flyer:

If players are interested in choosing the most enthusiastic merchants, they are Newill’s, Reliant, Sieghart, Volii, and Offworld Eats. Again, visiting these merchants doesn’t change the ending of this side mission, but it may give Saburo the best chance to save his business.

Once players have found five shops that accept flyers, they can return to Saburo to get 100 XP and a small amount of credits.
